Chapter 13

I am going to meet Smity and Kevin after two long weeks . My new college and new companions . I collected my profiles and required certificates . I woke up early today , very enthusiastic to meet my friends. I took my sandwich, which was prepared for me , ready in my plates. "Sit and eat ,dear",my aunt gave her voice from kitchen.
"Aunty I'm going to meet my friends after two long days"
"Ok, ok get ready I will drop you"
"Hmm hmm" I mounded as I was crunching my sandwich. I took my sling bag and my wallet with some currencies that Nic gave me. My phone was fully charged . Kevin texted me 'reached at 1:00 A.M'. Smity called me yesterday that I'll be meeting her today at college.

"So, eager to meet your friends!"Aunt Fiona asked me as she drove the car."Yeah, completely after two weeks",I was so cherrished . But oneside I wonder what Adam will be doing now. I keep on checking my phone for any calls from them. It was a five minutes travel from home , the THERESE institution arrived. It was huge with a beautiful infrastructure . It was raised with criss cross tall pillars . The yards were covered with thick lawn like a carpet.

"Seem to be a large campus than what I have heated",aunty's eyes were filled with surprise.
"yes , aunty this is a number one college in our state".
"Oh , I asked Robin to study here but he refused".
"Hey , Smity, Kevin...." I stressed each of their names . Filled with joy and happiness of seeing them again after a gap. I forgot that my aunty was standing near me. I ran to them and hugged each other . First Kevin and then Smity."So , these are your old friends ",my aunt stood beside me". "Aunty , this is Smity and Kevin", they both shook their hands with her and introduced themselves. "Glad to meet you guys ". She gave a warm smile. We didn't talk for few seconds and gave time for her to understand that she must leave,"OK , you all are meeting after a long days so you guys talk and I will leave ". She narrowed her eyes to me for a private talk."excuse me guys,I'll leave her and come ". I and aunt moved few space away from them so that they don't hear us. "All the best for your new college , be careful with those guys who are ragging ". She pointed her eyes to a gang of teens shouting and yelling. "Ok , aunty " I said . "Ok , be careful bye", she gave a small hug and she left.

          "You, are staying with her?" Smity asked . "Yeah"I replied. We three were walking together to our new campus and admiring each and every corner  . "My aunt said we should be careful from those who do ragging ". "Ragging!"Smity gave a jaw drop . "There are many people sitting in groups, we should escape from their sight." Kevin said."We all should walk casually and pretend to be cool , they might not notice us". I said . Kevin waved his hands on air and walked like marching."This is over", Smity said and we both laughed. Kevin seemed to be strong but he is like 'building strong and basement is week'. We escaped from the first one , the second , the third gang. They seemed to be busy with their own set of juniors ragging them. Then came my phone ringing, it was Nic he have called me after two days I anxiously picked it up.

"Sorry Amy , I woke up late today . Today is your first day to college !"Nic said.

"Yes, I'm standing inside the campus it is awesome". I stressed with excitement.

"Oh, I knew it. Have your friends there and enjoy your college ".

"Yes, Smity and Nic are already hear"

"Hoo, then enjoy. But keep in mind you should have other new friends also don't be roaming with those two , ok!"

"Ok , Nic bye they will be waiting for me "I said and disconnected it.

"Hey, guys..."I have walked alone talking to my brother and they both have gone missing . I stand on my heel searching then finally I set my eyes on them . They were surrounded by a gang . It seemed to be a dare for Kevin to carry Smity . If I go now they may catch me also. Kevin was already carrying her.

         I slowed down my heels . "Hey ,new girl come over here",I turned hearing those voice . It was another gang they were tall and more matured than me. they had a gang symbol tattooed on their shoulder. I tripped my foot steps slowly . I was so nervous. "Hey ,can't you here " another boy called out waving his hand to me". I approached them with a jerk. "Newcomer!",a boy asked me . They were four in number. I crocked "yes". "Hmm ,you look good and charming . What dare can we give you?! "I was blushing with out my own knowledge. "Hey ,boy come here ". He screemed to another newcomer . I raised my eyes to see who it is . His eyes were blue making his pale face look more beautiful. he wore a Jean a red top and  blue coat over it. He had his hair in half spikes and patted . He hands were pale and half rose ,holding his loaded bag. I lost myself looking at him . I didn't know what happened to me I haven't admired anyone like this . His eyes drew from the group to me . He blushed which was clearly seen from a long distance. Unfortunately I also blushed . He came close and stood opposite to me ."What's your name ?" a boy asked him . In fact I  was also eager to know that . "My name is Roy". "And you?"the same boy asked me in turn."I'm Amy" . "Which category?" he asked us in comman.
" Communication "we gave a chorus. we both stared each other eye to eye and turned our heads . I guess that chorus answer didn't  bother them a lot.

"Hey,Raven . I will give this time" a boy asked to another . he seemed to be a leader . I got his name to be Raven. "Okay"he said. "Hmm. the dare is you should hug her and propose to her with a kiss "he said. blood was flushing from my toe to head. I turned to look at Roy. His pale skin turned rose "Bro,please don't want please"Roy pleaded to him. "I said do it means it should be done , ok I'll take some concern just give a cheek kiss".  he turned to me and made his small foot steps . "Fast there is no time "I boy shouted . I jerked. it was already time for bell . I murrmured that the bell should ring . Roy made his small foot steps . My body turned cooler and was like freezing. I looked at Roy he seemed to be  nervous. I closed my eyes and hands tight. I felt his cold hands easing through my arms I heard the bell go an opened my fingers in a sudden . I heard all the foot steps crossing us.

         "This year you will not complete this dare I guess so "and they also went saying. I opened my eyes. Roy was standing in inches ,in front of me. My heart sank . It was like we were exchanging our breath . In a jerk we moved apart. "Sorry,sorry"he whispered and move to his class . I just shook my head.I kept my eyes immovable from him till he crossed the pillars to our department.
"Hey what are you doing here?"Smity and Kevin asked me. "no nothing we will go to class" said and we went to class.
