Chapter 4

The following day all came to SPACE and were walking through the corridor heading for their first class. They were walking when they heard a phone ring it was Manik's.

Man: You guys continue i will join you later

They all nodded and went to the class. Manik answered the call then went towards the principals office. On the other side Nandini also headed towards the principals office as she had to complete some formalities. Manik reached and went in.

Man: What do you want

Per: Manik you can't just walk in here like this

Man: Shut up Nyonika and tell me what you want I don't have all day to waste on you

Yes that person was Nyonika Manik's "mother". She doesn't care about Manik at all and is just with him for money.

Nyo: I need you to get these papers signed

Man: And why would I

Nyo: Manik I am your mother you have to listen to me

Man: NO (he shouted) you are NOT my mother... that word don't even sound good from your mouth

Nyo: Don't raise you voice and just get these papers signed

Saying so she got up and walked out. She walked out and saw Nandini there. Nandini had come to complete her formalities but before she could knock she heard some one talking and thought to wait till they are finished but then she heard some shouts.

Nyo: Hey you whats your name

Nan: Nandini... Nandini Murthy

Nyonika started to think hearing her name: Her name it sounds familiar but i haven't seen her before

Nyo: What are you doing here and were you listening to our talks

Nan: No mam I wasn't listening to you talks I...

She was cut off by Nyonika.

Nyo: Shut up I know girls like you

Man: Shut up Nyonika and don't say anything to her

Nyo: Manik you stay out of this

Man: No let's go Nandini

He went to Nandini held her hand and dragged her with him. They reached the music wing and he let go of her hand.

Man: I'm sorry for that

Nan: Manik why are you saying sorry it wasn't your fault

Man: What were you doing there

Nan: I had to complete some formalities so I came but then i heard talks so I thought to come after but then I heard your shouts

Man: Oh okay

Nan: Your okay right

Man: Yeah what will happen to me

Nan: Manik after what happened in the Principals office you think your okay

Manik just went and hugged Nandini. At first Nandini was startled but then she wrapped her arms around him and rubbed his back Manik tightened his grip around her. He had tears in his eyes they flowed down his cheeks and onto Nandini's neck as he had hidden his face in the crook of her neck. Nandini felt her neck wet and realized that Manik was crying she tried to break the hug but Manik didn't let her so she spoke still in the hug.

Nan: Manik what happened why are you crying

Man: Nan... Nandini she... she never behaves like a mother she doesn't look after me... am I that bad that no one loves me

Nan: No Manik your not bad your a gem it's her lost and who says no one loves you all your friends love you

She broke the hug and wiped his tears he smiled looking at her and hugged her again.

Man: Thank you

Nan: For what

Man: For being there with me in my weak moments

Nan: I'll always be there for you weak moment or not

Man: Me too

Nan: Okay so enough of this emotional drama lets go by the way where are the others

Man: They went to class

Nan: We'll go as well... but it's late

Man: Lets sneak in

Nan: Are you sure

Man: Yes it will be fun

Nan: Okay

They left for the class. They reached the class and saw the professor giving his lecture their friends were sitting at the back and by their expressions they could tell they weren't paying attention. They looked to the front the teacher was facing the board and writing something so they started to sneak in. The students were looking at them confused they ignored them and went and sat at the back. The teacher turned back and saw them.

Pro: Nandini Manik when did you guys come

Man: Sir what do you mean when did you come we were in your class from the start

Nan: Yes sir

Pro: But i didn't see you

Nan: Sir there so many students in the class so you must have missed us

Man: Yes Sir

Pro: Okay

He continued with the lesson. Soon the lesson was over and they all came out.

Muk: Now tell where were you both

Nan: I had to complete some formalities

Man: I had to meet Nyonika

Cab: Okay now lets go canteen I need to eat

They all left for the canteen. In the canteen they were eating talking laughing and what not. They spent some time together and then left for their homes.

Nandini's House

Sparks were all at Nandini's house as she said she wanted to talk to them.

Abh: Nandu what happened you called us all here

Nan: Guys it's been a week since we are here and we have no information we need to do something

San: She's right

Nav: But what will we do

Nan: Tomorrow I am not coming collage

Ary: But why

Nan: I'm going to meet Robert see if he found anything

Abh: Okay but be careful and call us if you need anything

Nan: Okay

They talked for some more time and left for their respective homes.
