Chapter 9

It was just past noon and both groups were still in their practice rooms talking. Manik had returned to Fab 4 and explained to them his plan of scaring Nandini. They were a little hesitant at letting him continue with the plan as it seemed too much but he convinced them to let him continue and not worry.  They all headed towards the canteen to eat and met the others on the way and went together. They all sat down and ordered their food as they began to talk no one mentioned anything about the challenge. Soon their food came and they started to eat. After eating they left then canteen and went to the practice room to talk.

Muk: So guys as you know the semester holidays are approaching so the girls and I talked and we thought we should go somewhere fun together

Ary: Great idea

Dhr: Yeah but where do you want to go

San: We haven't decided yet we thought you guys should have a say as well cause your going with us

Abh: Fair enough anyone have any ideas

They all looked at each other and nodded their heads no.

Man: Okay lets think then

All sat their and thought of places they might want to go.

Nan: Maybe we could go London

Aly: Not a bad idea

All the others agreed and they started to discuss places they could go and how the girls needed to go shopping and to the salon. They decided they would go the day after the holidays started and say their for the two weeks before returning back for college. As they were talking Nandini left saying she had to go the bathroom soon after Manik left saying he had to meet Nyonika. After Manik left he went to find Nandini, he had left so he could scare her so he used meeting Nyonika as an excuse. He saw her walking into the girls bathroom at the end of the corridor and decided it would be a good idea to start his plan. He left and went to set up his plan.

Nandini soon came out the washroom and started to make her way back to the others when she heard a scream from the end of the corridor. Curious she headed towards where the sound had come from as she reached closer she got more and more nervous. Stopping at the corner she took a deep breath and turned the corner but as she did her breath got caught in her throat.

Back in the practice room the groups were waiting for them to return as they had been gone for quite some time.

Nav; Guys I'm going to go to find Nandini

San: Me too she doesn't normally take this long

Cab: Don't worry I'm sure she is fine she'll come back she isn't a child

San: I know but she should be back by now

Nav: Yes lets go

Aly: No

They stopped as Aliya shouted towards them. They all looked at her waiting for an explanation.

Abh: What are you guys hiding from us

Aly: Nothing

Ary: Tell us

Dhr: Guys just tell them

Muk: Okay so Manik has gone to scare Nandini thats why she hasn't returned

San: Oh why didn't you tell us earlier

Muk: It didn't come up

Ary: So what is he going to do

Cab: Well...

Cabir told them what Manik had planned. By the end they were all shocked.

Abh: WHAT HOW COULD YOU LET HIM DO THAT

Fab 4 were shocked at his sudden outburst and didn't understand why he was like this. They all dashed out the room and headed towards the door to find them with Fab 4 following behind confused as to what is happening. Meanwhile Nandini was shocked at what she saw red all over the floor with someone lying in the middle of it. It didn't take too long for her to realise it was blood she rushed towards the body and turned it to see who it was. Once she saw who it was she let out an ear piercing scream. The person before her lying in a pool of blood was Manik. She started to violently shake him while screaming for him to wake up but he did not respond. Nandini's head was a mess as memories started to swim around in her head she jumped back from Manik and leaned back against the wall as her breathing got heavy and soon she was gasping for air her head was spinning. She couldn't understand what was happening around her she was falling into a panic attack. She continued to scream hoping everything would end she didn't want this to happen again. She was alone and didn't know what to do, she couldn't control her screaming as she pushed herself against the wall in hope of the wall pulling her in and taking her away from all of this. The rest of the group came running towards them as they heard Nandini screaming and they too were shocked at what they saw in front of them.
