Chapter 8

All of them headed to class and sat at the back together. Through out the whole class Manik couldn't concentrate as he was thinking what he could do to scare Nandini.

Soon the class ended and as soon as the class dismissed Manik ran out the class room his friends looked at him confused but then realised he was probably doing something for the challenge. The rest of them left to to the canteen as well. As they reached the canteen they sat down and ordered food as they were hungry. As they waited for the food they started talking.

Ary: Guys where's Manik

He asked Fab 5

San: Yeah he just left like that

Cab: He had something to do

Ary: What

Cab: Just something

San: Okay then

There food came and they continued talking as they ate.

Muk: So guys semester holidays are approaching we should do something fun, something memorable

Aly: Yes totally

Nan: I agree we need a break from everything

San: But what shall we do

Muk: Lets go somewhere together

San: Yeah that's a good idea but where

Everyone sat in silence thinking where they could go for their holiday. Meanwhile Manik was in a corridor when he thought of an idea to scare Nandini, he knew she was a brave girl so he knew little scare jumps and all wouldn't work so he decided something different, something big. But little did he know things wouldn't go as he planned. Soon everyone had finished eating and headed towards their practice rooms as Nandini had told Fab 4 she needed to discuss something with Sparks. As they reached their practice room Nandini locked the door as she didn't want anyone to disturb them. She approached the others who were all seated on the chairs that were there.
Abhimanyu was the one to break the silence.

Abh: So Nandini what did you need to talk to us about

Nav: Yeah is everything okay

Nan: Okay so you guys know how for the past few days I have been with Robert for the investigation

All nodded their heads in response and waited for her to continue.

Nan: Well we went to different places but didn't find anything but yesterday we went to his office

She paused and took a deep breath as she remembered going there and all the memories of her father came back once again. Abhimanyu and Sanaya who were sitting either side of her held her hands encouraging her to continue speaking.

Nan: Once we reached his office we searched it and I went to his office and found a safe behind once of the paintings in his office, inside there was a project remember when I told you he was planning a surprise for me

She glanced around at them as their heads tell her they remembered.

Nan: It was the surprise plan project

She untangled her hands from Abhimanyu and Sanaya and reached into her bag and took out the copy she had of the file. She then handed it to Sanaya and spoke.

Nan: These are the designs for the surprise plan I don't know why but they look familiar

San: They do I've seen them somewhere

She passed the file around so the others could see them too

They sat there and continued to talk and told Nandini what had happened in college while she was a way. On the other hand, Manik was setting his plan to scare Nandini.
