KATES POV:
Mum:Kids, breakfast
I walked out of my room and brad was stood right in front of my door
K:Were you waiting for me?
I smirked as he shrugged his shoulders
B:Maybe
Laughing i followed him down the stairs towards mum and derek

K:Did you have a nice time last night?
Mum smiled and nodded as she put her hand on derek's shoulder
D:What about you? Did you do anything fun?
Brad laughed slightly and looked at me
B:You could say that

Shaking my head slightly I laughed
Mum:Brad do you have your first arena performance today?
He nervously nodded
B:Yeah, I was gonna invite you all but I forgot so if your all free

I laughed as he curiously picked up his drink
K:I'm free
Derek and mum both nodded excitedly as brad stood up from his seat before his phone stared vibrating in his pocket
B:Condora ball
Confused I crossed my eyebrows as he headed towards the stairs

Derek turned towards my mum and smiled
D:Right I better get off to work, first day remember
My mum hugged him tightly as he walked through the doorway

As I heard the door slam behind him I knew that now was the time to hear her confession

K:So when were you gonna tell me?
Mum:Tell you what?
She innocently carried on with the washing as I stood up from my seat smirking

K:Tell me that derek and brad are moving in?
She swallowed her words slightly
Mum:I was going to tell you but I just didn't want you to freak out about it, I know it's so soon but I'm really happy

I smiled as she defended herself thinking that i would be mad
K:Mum, I'm fine
Shocked she stepped back slightly?
Mum:Really?
K:Yeah derek seems really nice and brad...he's everything
I paused slightly
K:I would want in a brother

She smiled widely and pulled me in for a hug
Mum:Well as long as your happy, I'm happy

BRADS POV:
I hung up on Connor and lifted my guitar off the bed below me
K:Hey
I looked behind me to see Katie smiling
B:Hey
She looked intrigued as I held the guitar in my hand
K:You play?
B:Yeah, I play drums as well
She looked impressed as I felt her hand touch my arm
K:You'll smash it tonight, I promise

Realising she could tell I was nervous I warmly smiled back and hugged her tightly
B:I will with you watching

I could feel her hug me tighter before she pulled away awkwardly
K:Anyway, I'll uh, I'll see you later

I smirked and nodded as I headed towards the door and waited for Connor to arrive
