Part 17:Where are they?

CATS POV:
As i walked towards a smiling reece all I could think about was how kate wasn't answering anyone's calls, this wasn't like her

R:Hey
I hugged him quickly before sitting in between George and Blake, blake looked confused as I smiled slightly
B:Where's kate?
George laughed before shaking his head
C:Uh, I don't know, she isn't answering any of our calls
He looked concerned as I watched him twiddle his fingers

R:Do you think she's ok?
C:I don't know, she's never like this
They all looked at each other

B:Shall we go check?
I smiled slightly
C:It's ok, she's probably just sleeping or something
I nodded knowing that I was probably just over reacting, at least that's what I thought

LEAHS POV:
I closed the window to Conor's car as we parked up outside kates house
Con:Right how long you gonna be?
L:I'm just picking up my purse and I'll be back
I kissed him quickly before walking up to her front door, knocking on it slowly

I was surprised to see her mum open it lt in shock, I thought she wasn't coming back for a few weeks
L:Hey, sorry is kate in?
K Mum:No
She looked down towards the floor as I awkwardly stood in front of her
L:Uh, is it ok if I get my purse?, I think it's in her room
K Mum:There's nothing in her room, its all gone
Confused I looked up at her pale face

L:What do you mean it's "all gone?"
K Mum:She left, with brad, said she's going on holiday
L:We were, but that's not for a few days yet, did she say where she was going?
K Mum:No, she just left a few hours ago its all gone, everything's gone

I swallowed hardly
L:So, she's not coming back?
k mum: I don't know, all she left was her phone
Crossing my eyebrows I sighed slightly, kate would never leave her phone? Not by accident, her eyes are glued to that thing 24/7
L:Sorry, I'm just so confused
K mum: me too
I looked down towards the floor as she stood before me
L:Anyway, I better be going

I quietly spoke as she smiled warmly before shutting the door behind me

Con:Got it?
I sat in the seat below me as I looked at him in worry
L:Kate's gone
Con:Huh
His face said it all as I explained everything

Con:Well it would make sense, after everything that's happened
L:I know but... I'm worried con
He hugged me tightly
Con:Me too but she's fine, she always is
