CATS POV:
I faced the door of Kate's house and knocked it slightly

D:Oh, hi
Confused I looked at him strangely, she hasn't moved out already has she?
C:Uh, hi I'm cat... Kate's friend
He nodded quickly and opened the door
D:Shes upstairs
I looked back at him as he smiled

C:Kate
I called her name as I saw the spare room door was wide open, I could hear voices but I couldn't work out who's voices it was

C:Kate?
I looked over to see kate with a boy, about our age who was exactly her type

I smirked slightly
C:Who's this?
K:Uh, Cat this is Brad
He smiled in my direction as I raised my eyebrows
C:So... uh kate can I talk to you out here for a second?
She nodded as I pulled her to the side

C:Explain to me what the hells going on
She laughed slightly
K:Derek and brad are staying with us for a bit
She looked back at him and smiled, it was so obvious she liked him
C:And are you ok with the fact that he's your stepbrother?
K:Woah, hang on derek and my mum aren't married
C:Yeah but you know what I mean, kate I see the way you look at him
I smirked slightly as she rolled her eyes
K:Nothing is going on between me and brad
C:Not yet
I winked slightly as she awkwardly laughed
K:Whatever you say
I looked at brad and then back at kate

C:Anyway, the girls are at the park, you coming?
She nodded slightly before following me down the stairs

KATIES POV:
As I was walking towards the park all I could think about was how much I missed brad, and it had only been a few minutes since I left him

C:What you thinking about?
She wore a crooked smile as I shook my head slightly
K:Nothing
C:Oh kate just give it up already, you love him
She playfully hit my arm as I saw Leah and rach approaching
K:I don't "love" him

L:What's this about love?
I hugged Leah tightly as she smiled
C:Kate's in love with her stepbrother
K:No I'm not
They both smirked as I covered my face in embarrassment

L:So... who's this we're talking about?
C:His name is brad
I looked at her and shook my head as they pulled me in the opposite direction
R:I wanna meet him
K:Wait no guys, no one is meeting him yet
L:Why do you think we're going to embarrass you, because if you do your right
I laughed and tried to turn them the opposite way
L:Oi Oi

I looked around my shoulder to see four boys, i recognised all of them
L:Hey con
Leah smiled and swung her arms around Conor's neck, the two of them have been dating for 3 months now and things were getting pretty serious
Conor:I thought I'd bring some of my friends down, you know for kate
He winked in my direction knowing I was the only one single
K:Thanks con but I'm fine, seriously

I looked at the 3 boys beside him remembering them all from school, I think I even dated one of them
K:No honestly, I'm fine
I awkwardly smiled in there direction as he grabbed leahs hand
Conor:Alright, whatever you say

I looked towards cat and laughed while rolling my eyes, I knew they were all only doing it for my benefit but all I cared about right now was brad, he was my main priority
