Auston nudges me awake when his phone alarm goes off at 5:30, so that I can get out into the living room before either of his parents wake up.

"Come on, Y/N, gotta get up," he whispers and I groan and turn my head into his neck again. He gives me a groggy laugh and kisses my hair. "I know, I feel the same way too, but I think my mother would have my ass shipped back to Arizona if she caught me with you in here."

I sigh, lifting myself half off of him and rub my face with my free hand. When my eyes adjust to the dim light I can see him smiling up at me.

"What?" I ask, eyeing him warily,

"You're pretty when you wake up, Mom was right," he muses and I blush. His finger comes up and gently touches my now warm cheek. "I love when you blush."

I lean into his hand for a moment before I remember his rule and quickly duck out of his reach.

"Hey, you said you weren't going to touch me," I raise my eyebrow at him.

"I might have changed the restrictions, how about I won't feel you up until you ask me to but I can do this," he slips his hand up the back of my shirt, the rough skin of callused hands running along the bare skin of my back. Goosebumps erupt all over my body and I sigh in contentment.

"Doesn't this count as feeling up?" I ask, though I never want him to stop.

"Not to me," he says quietly and I smile.

"Does that mean I can feel you up?" I ask teasingly.

His hand stops in its path back down my back for a moment before continuing back up. "I would prefer you not to, but yes," he eventually answers and I cock my head to the side.

"Prefer me not to?" I repeat confusion on my face.

"Y/N, if you were to ever do what you did to me yesterday again... I would never be able to control myself," he laughs and I can't help but grin back.

He glances at the clock on his night stand and I know that I have to get back out to my spot. I sigh and bend to kiss him but refrain for his lips, kissing his shoulder and then cheek instead. His eyes close and he breathes in deeply.

"I'm gonna die before you ever ask me to touch you," he mutters, more to himself than me but I giggle.

"I'll see you soon," I whisper and kiss his cheek once more before slipping away from him, his hand falling away from my back. I wrap my blanket around me once more and pad back out into the living room, settling down onto my chair. I didn't expect to fall back asleep, but with the lack there of and the fact that my blanket now smells like Auston, I fall asleep almost instantly.

The next day is chaotic, Auston leaves before I wake up again to go to his pre-game skate, and Mrs. Matthews is whirling around the apartment like a hurricane trying to make sure everyone has all their stuff put together and organized to head back.

Unlike me, the Matthews' are flying back home from Toronto tonight, my parents called and set up for me to take a rental car back home and I'm actually looking forward to the aspect of driving home alone. It's fitting.

I set the present I got Auston inside my purse, planning on giving it to him after his game tonight, before I go home. Mrs. Matthews insists on packing the SUV right now, before Auston even gets back, so they we aren't in a mad dash to get everything to fit at the last minute before the game. Everyone grabs their bags and stuff they won't need the rest of the day and starts downstairs. I'm the last to follow and when I go to pick up my school bag that I haven't done anything with all week, it slips out of my hand and most of the contents spill out everywhere.
