Haze's POV:
I walk out my office holding my phone while I constantly checking the screen if she reply any of my text but none.
Just a few steps away from the Corporate Department, my movements are halt by sudden person storming out of the office looking terribly upset and it's not just anyone. It's Cassidy. My Cassidy.
With my instinct on cue, my big strides follow her from behind but she didn't even turn around. It's like she can't wait to be out of this place. And I feel myself shrink, I don't even have the guts to call her name until it was too late.
The elevator door is closing and I try running for it. I was about to call her name before Josh's voice stops me.
'Don't Haze.'
The door closes and I was so damn close to her but I missed. I turn around with rage to see him standing few inches behind my back. 'What the fuck Josh?'
'You might want to leave her alone.'
'What do you mean leave her alone? It's not like she know me.'
'She knew.'
'What the hell Josh; I told you not to tell her. What the fuck man!'
'I didn't tell her. She overheard us.' He answer me back agitated.
'Fuck.' I once again cuss under my breath.
'I told you Haze, if you tell her earlier this wouldn't happened.'
I run my palm over my face, sighing. Not even bother to answer him back. I know it's my fault now. I know I'm fucked the moment she called me.
