Cassidy's POV:

Yesterday went off like a blur, or maybe it just my own vision because I constantly cried yesterday. So many things crossed my mind before finally I decided I had enough.

I was sitting on my desk typing my paperwork for tomorrow's meeting before my co-worker's  voice rang in my ears.

'Hey Cass, could you do me a favor and call Mr. Kevin at Mr. Callahan office. There's someone  here wants to meet him.' Celine voice ask me.

I look at her briefly and she was looking back with pleaded eyes, I can see her busy keeping the guy company because whoever that is; he looks damn impatient. So I just nodded and proceed to walk my way to my boss office.

When  I get there, his PA is not on her desk so I just approach the door and it was slightly open. I was about to knock on the door before I heard Mr. Kevin voice asking Mr. Callahan a question that send chill down my spine.

'You got to tell Cassidy how you really feel Haze. How long do you want to keep this thing a secret.' So he said.

My movement is halt at the moment the statement came out of my HOD mouth. My mind start going on a wild run before I start getting the pieces together. I try to convince myself it wasn't me they're talking about but it seems impossible.

'I don't need you to tell me what to do Josh.' I hear Hazeron spat.

'So you're just going to keep texting her like a coward you are?'

'Yeah. I'm just going to text her until I know for sure that she likes me back too. You think I'm going to ruin all this by telling her that I got her over a bet?'

'Don't you think that once she is head over heels for you then you decide to tell her the truth won't even hurt her more?'

'Shut up and get out of my room Kevin.' Hazeron roars with his tone lace with authority. He is clearly piss because it went from a first name basis to last name.

'Don't say I didn't remind you Haze. I'm telling you this because you're my friend.'

I hear Josh said that to him and that cut me off my own trance. That's the cue for me to back away. I walk over not far from his PA desk then turn back around pretending to be just walking there and halfway to the door, Mr. Kevin comes out. His face is serious and then soften when he sees me.

'What are doing here Ms. Roscoe?'

'Oh I was looking for you Sir. Celine asked me to find you because there's someone waiting for you in your office.' I fake innocence and luckily he bought it.

He nodded his head before I turn around and walk before him. He is walking right behind me. At the moment I feel so overwhelm and when I reach my desk I instantly grab my phone and text Haze or should I say my boss.
