"NAMJOON!!" I yelled, feeling out of place. I looked around and found him lying on the ground. My eyes suddenly welled up and tears streamed down as I ran to him, screaming his name.

I saw Mei in the corner of my eye running towards us. "Namjoon! Wake up!" I shouted, shaking him. He coughed whilst opening his eyes.

"Y-You better n-not rewind, I swear-swear t-to god," he stuttered. "It's not bad, I won't die,"

"We have to take you to the hospital!" I shouted as tears wouldn't stop crying.

I tried pulling him up, as he slightly laughed. "Wh-why are you cr-crying? I just hurt-hurt my sh-shoulder."

"Because you're my best friend and seeing you hurt makes me sad!" I cried even more as I lifted him off the ground whilst Mei ran to the car and opened the back door.

I put him inside and closed the door whilst Mei ran inside and got my keys. "Catch!" She yelled throwing Mr the keys as she ran to the passenger door. I got inside and started the car, before driving out of the driveway.

"Hang in there!" Mei shouted, looking at Namjoon. I bit my bottom lip trying stop it from trembling.

Once we got to the hospital, Mei ran inside and called the nurses and doctors whilst I tried to get Namjoon out of the car.

He wasn't moving, which made my heart drop. He better be sleeping.

The doctors rushed to us and took Namjoon in a rolling bed as they rolled him into the surgery room.

I sat in the chairs, running my hand through my hair as sweat trickled down my forehead.

"This is my fault isn't it?" Mei mumbled next to me. I sighed, closing my eyes as I leaned my head back.

"Mei, don't blame yourself," I sighed, praying to god that Namjoon will be okay.

"Are you going to let me go?" She squeaked, her voice quiet. I looked at her.

"I don't want to," I replied softly.
"I want you to," she said.

The knife in my heart pushed in deeper. "Why?" I replied, my voice quivering.

"I don't want you or anybody else getting hurt because of me," she said, playing with her fingers. "Let me go, Jin. I don't think I'm worth that much."

"What are you saying? You think you could walk into my life and make me suddenly have feelings for you and then decide that you should leave me? You want me to be in pain?" I asked trying to hold my anger and sadness in. "I really really like you, Mei. I can't let you go so easily."

"Just deal with it then!" She shouted, her eyes welled up in tears. "I can't risk your life for my own! You think I want this too? I really don't. But we don't really have a choice here! Who knows what'll happen if you tried to save my life again. It's dangerous, and you know it. Nothing good will come out of it, Jin. If you keep trying to save me, you're just risking others and your life. I don't want that."

"Mei, why are you so stubborn?" I asked, bewildered. "Can't you be more selfish? This is your own life you're talking about here."

"Can't you?" She argued.

"You know I'll keep rewinding if you try to harm yourself or I anyone tries to harm you? I'll risk it even if it kills me, so it's best if you don't decide you want to die, because I'll do whatever it takes. If you do have feelings for me, you wouldn't want do risk my life, do you?" I asked, crossing my arms.

She glared at me, biting her bottom lip. I tilted my head to the side, staring back at her.

I looked away, sighing in frustration. "I would leave, but I'm worried about Namjoon." She said, looking at her lap.

"Right," I nodded, leaning back on the chair. I looked at her, shifting my gaze to her hands. I felt the urge to grab her hand and intertwine our fingers together, but I felt that I didn't deserve it.

"Can you hold my hand?" I asked, shifting my gaze up to her. "I'm really nervous about Namjoon."

She looked at me, squinting. "No?"

"Please?" I whined softly.

"No,"

I grabbed her hand and held onto it tightly. "Let go," she said.

"No," I said, shaking my head.

"What the hell, Jin?" She groaned. "Let go of my hand,"

"Nope," I said, pulling her closer to me.

"I hate you so much," she muttered before heaving a sigh.

"I like you so much," I answered, slightly smiling, when she digged her nails into my skin causing my hand to break free from hers.

"Don't do this, Jin." She said, standing up as I winced in pain. She walked to the other side of the chairs and sat there, crossing her arms.

I glanced at my hand, observing the nail marks on my skin. It wasn't bleeding, and the marks weren't really noticeable.

I sighed, and looked over at her. What should I do?
