Joanne stopped texting Saket, totally.

Until now I had been observing Jo, now i begin observing him.

Well, he started missing her. He doesn't know why, he just missed her. He waited for her texts, which never came. He wondered if he had hurt her in any way, but he ruled that option out since he hadn't said anything hurtful. The last one that remained was something serious. Saket knew she had anaemia. Was she okay?

He checked his Facebook. She had unfriended him. 'That's impossible!' he thought. 'She'd never do such a thing!'

For the first time in life, he felt so bad. He missed someone he'd never met.

He decided to ask her what was wrong. He sent her a message on Whatsapp, but she didn't reply.

Now Saket was really worried. She was ignoring him, SAKET? Never!!! Maybe she wasn't alright.

He knew she spoke to Palash quite often. So he texted him, enquiring about her. To his enormous surprise and shock, he said she was in touch with him yet.

'Can you just ask her what's wrong?' Saket asked Palash. 'Sure.' he replied.

The next day, Palash told Saket that she refused to talk about it.

Saket asked, 'Is she alright? I mean, anaemic as she is, how's her condition?'

Palash said, 'I guess she's fine.'

Years passed by. Saket thought she must've forgotten him, but he hadn't. How could he? She was probably his BIGGEST fan, she had said so herself. He made sure she was okay through Palash of course. He occasionally asked him about her.

Had she really forgotten him?

At that point of time, he gets a message from Palash. 'Dude, she's going to New York! For further studies. She must be at the airport now. Aren't you gonna meet her? Last time? She said she wants to meet you if she can, but she doesn't want to bother you.'

It took Saket quite a while to let that sink in.

[I know Jo's being really mean, but she has her own reasons. The fictional part begins after Jo starts ignoring Saket. The part preceding that is mostly true. :) ]
