Saket had no option but to watch her go. Though Jo was comfortable with Mrs. Stewarts, she still held Palash's hand. He was so jealous, but there was nothing he could do.  He walked upto Palash and said, "That's okay, I'll take her.." and tried to grab her hand.

But Jo only yelled "Leave me alone!" and held Palash even tighter. "LET. ME. GO." she yelled. "But baby?" Saket began to speak as Mrs. Stewarts interrupted, "Let her be, for a while dear, she'll uh, remember soon."

Saket nodded. He was trying hard not to cry. He watched HIS Joanne hold Palash's hand and walk to her bed. She had to be hospitalised again immediately as she had run absent-mindedly, and her iv needle had been pulled out. "Excuse me!" Mr. Hale yelled, "Please! Her IV's been pulled out! Blood will begin to flow faster than usual! Lay down JO!!" Jo quietly followed orders.

He hand was already red with blood dripping from her wrist, and yes it was flowing pretty fast. Mr. Hale quickly wiped off all the blood and bandaged her hand. He pierced her again, near her elbow this time. Saket looked at her longingly, and he couldn't help but notice how she was holding Palash's hand tightly while the needle jabbed her skin. He heard her wince and then tighten her grip on Palash's hand.

Somehow, Saket couldn't help but notice Palash's happiness, which he obviously tried to hide but he couldn't.

When Jo finally let go of his hand, Saket called him out into the corridor. "What was all that about, huh?" he asked, almost about to hit him. "You saw that mate, it wasn't me. She was holding my hand, and THAT isn't my fault." he replied, annoyed. "Not that. You looked content when she did that. Why??" he asked again.

"Ummm... I... I..." Palash was at a loss of words. "I've always had feelings for her bro. All that time she used to tell me that she likes you, you ignore her and then she went abroad. You never gave her the love and attention she deserved, Saket. She was so hurt. You started loving her when she had left already. I never really got a chance to tell her I love her. I wish I would have. But she never liked me, SHE LOVED YOU! Being with you is what will make her happy. And I've always only wished to see her happy."

This came as a shock for Saket. "Wha.. What?" was all he could say. Jo called out, "Please come, Mumma call that guy. I'm scared."

"Now if you would please excuse me, she needs me." Palash said as he walked past Saket and into the room. "Yes?" Palash asked Jo sweetly. "Sit with me, don't go. Please." Jo said, blushing a little. Palash was happier than ever.
