17. Betrayal?!

Well, I am a little confused about you,
"I love you very much and don't leave me alone "said you,
But what is it that is happening right now,
I need to know why and how?
My heart has become very heavy and I need to burst it all out,
But looking around I don't find you and I realise there's no way out.
Was all this with me, till now, a betrayal,
Or was my love just optional?

This communication gap is too large for us,
But still we are one and no one can bisect us.
I texted that I completely trust you and you should trust me too.
I will never leave you so don't misunderstand me.
Let the world say whatever it feels like,
I am not against you and I know you are not that type.
I've realised that you truly love me and it's not a betrayal,
But to hate me for doubting you is quite optional.

I don't know whether to believe you or not,
Because my heart and soul you got.
I don't know what's on your mind and what you're going to do,
But I know there's nothing wrong coming from you.
There are a lot of questions that you need to answer,
And I wish they are all in my favour.
The confusion, is finally going to be solved, of the betrayal,
And this time I'll love you for it and it's not at all optional.

People said you're bad, I didn't believe them.
They said you weren't good for me, I didn't believe them.
They asked my not to accept you,
But I did, because I believed in you, in us.
So how could I believe when they said you cheated on me,
And that you don't have anyone special, not even me.
People just wanted to create an illusion of betrayal,
But they didn't know that my believing in it was just optional.
