I looked at Rose laying on her bed. The monitor was off and her skin was pale. I swallowed hard. The doctor came to me and said, "It'll take the greatest of magic to bring her back to life. I'm sorry," I tried to smile, but it was hard. Wait, I thought. The greatest magic! That's it! I'll go see a magician! There has to be SOME magicians here! I wasn't sad anymore. I knew someone could bring her back to life. And I knew just the person....
"Rumplestiltskin!" he said. "That's my name!" "I want something you have," I said. "Aye? What be it?" he asked. "My friend was just killed. Can you bring her back to life?" I asked. "No. It'll take the best magic of all to do that. True love." he said. "True love? Rose never talked about her 'true love.' " I said. "Well I'm sorry, dear, you'll just have to deal with her death the same way you dealt with your mother's." I turned around. "It took me years to get over Mom!" I said. "Do not say ANYTHING about her or so help me I will end you. Permanently." I absolutely hate it when people talk about Mom. "Kill me now, because I have a lot to say." he replied. With a quick motion I swung my arm around and grabbed his neck. "I can and WILL kill you," I said. He pulled out a spear. "And I can kill you," he said in a raspy voice. I squeezed harder. "Keep your mouth shut about my mother," I said. I let go of him, turned, and left.
Rumplestiltskin was no help whatsoever. So I decided to return to the palace and inform Snow White of Rose's death. Once I got in the castle she was right there in front of me. "I have a lot of questions for you young lady. Where's Rose? And why did you leave last night? Where have you been today? WHERE'S ROSE?" she asked. I looked down. "You're not my mother. My mother is dead. Just like Rose." I said. Snow White's eyes widened and she fell to the ground with her hands on her face, sobbing. I kneeled beside her and rubbed her back. "It was Ingrid." I said. "She killed Rose and threatened to kill me," "INGRID?!" Snow White asked. "But..but she's in jail!" Her eyes darted back and forth. "I have to warn the people of her escape." She got up and ran out the palace.
When I got outside people were screaming and crying and running back to their homes in fear. "The Evil Queen escaped from jail! Run!" Many voices screamed. I pushed through the crowd. I'm going to talk to her. She owes me an explanation."
