Khristy led me into the room she was in and sat me on her bed. "This is Elmore. The place where every fairy-tale character lives. Everyone here is a twin to everyone in your town, Hoppersville. Except for you." she explained. "So, I'm not a fairy-tale character?" I asked. "No." Khristy said. "You are the only person who can go to Elmore and Hoppersville without a scratch on you. If any of US meet our twins, the whole universe will be destroyed and all of us will die. So it is of utmost importance that you keep Elmore and Hoppersville away from each other." She emphasized the word "away."  "Okay, easy task. Just none of you go through the woods." I said. "However, it will not be that simple. There is a dark force that will come and cut the trees down. If you let that happen, everything you know and love will be lost! It is your duty to save us and keep the dark force away from the trees." She emphasized the word "away" again. "So, how can I stop this 'dark force' thing?" I asked. "You are the Savior. You will always find a way." she said. "But for now, make sure that none of us get any ideas and accidently venture through the woods. Please, go back home now." "But what about my father. I haven't seen him since he got arrested. Where is he?" I asked. Khristy looked around and lowered her voice as if someone might hear. "Behind the temple. He lives there as a servant. Be careful of him, though. He is the town thief, so don't give him anything dear to you." she said. A thief. Just as I thought. Suddenly, I wasn't looking so forward to seeing Dad. "Thank you- Rose." I said. She smiled. I crept out of her room down the hallway, and out of the palace. I was getting out of here. Rose called, "Good luck!" from her bedroom window. I smiled back. It was nice having Little Red Riding Hood as your best friend. I was going to see my father. But best of all, I got to keep my clothes.
