This isn't really a pokemon logic but more of a Smash Bros logic but ya.
In one of the cutscenes where Pokemon Trainer appear,(Its not Red, but its the male hero of FRed and LGreen) one of his pokémon gets turned into an amiibo(calling it like that is rly cool). Like every trainer besides me, they will switch if they have a disadvantage. In the next scene that includes him, or her, or none, or both, genderfluid, or ak 47, or attack helicopter (just in case that i don't assume someone's gender) their pokemon is back to normal. What happened? Did the pokeball make it go back to normal? Where can I buy those? Why aren't my pokeballs like that? I don't see pokemon centers near their area. Potions won't help.Just how?
