Lynn

Today, Mom and Lana come home, it has been two days since she was born and Connor and I have made sure that everything was put together in the nursery. Bunny and Killer are very happy to meet Lana. Killer has gotten a bit bigger but she is still a tiny white ball of evil fluff.I hear the car pull up out front and race to see if they need help. Mom looks exhausted and Adrik doesn't look much better, but both are wearing large smiles.

I grab the baby seat from the back of the car and carry it in with the bag Mom took to the hospital. I have already set up the couch for her to lay on and the portable bassinet so she doesn't have to run up and down the stairs fro the next couple of days. The doctor said it was important that she recover a bit before doing anything more than taking care of the baby.

"Come on, Mom. I have your nest set up. Just park your ass on the couch and get comfortable. The Doctor said nothing strenuous, no stairs, and plenty of rest. Connor and I have everything set up for you. We are taking over your chores. Just relax and heal." She beams at me, "You two are such good kids." I hug her and then move her to the couch. Adrik is watching us with a smile on his face. "When did Lana last eat?" I ask and Adrik answers, "Right before we left the hospital, so she will probably sleep for a couple hours." I nod, "Good, both of you can take a nap."

He rolls his eyes with a smile, "Yes, Mother." I playfully swat at him, but he cuddles up next to Mom on the couch while I settle Lana into the bassinet. Soon, the three of them are passed out. Connor comes down and smiles, "Mom looks so tired. I hope she's ok." I pat him on the back, "She will be fine in a few days." Connor nods and says, " I talked to the doctor and she gave me a list of foods that will help her recover better and help keep her healthy so she can nurse Lana." I laugh, "Good going. I didn't even think about that." He shrugs, "Mom is going to need help and I want to do that for her. If we work together, then no one gets overwhelmed and everyone is happy."

I sniffle, "My little brother is growing up." He shoves me, "Bite me, Lynn." I raise an eyebrow at him, he knows I will. He takes off towards the kitchen, leaving me to laugh at him. Bunny trots into the living room, "Ah, the smell of new life and a pure soul is wonderful. May I see her?" I smile and lead him to the bassinet. "She is beautiful. She will be a very special woman someday. I can feel it." I pet his head. "You will be too, Lynn. I feel like things are moving for you. Your family is more than human. Your Mom, your brother, You, all very much more than human. Always follow your instincts."

Just then Lana opens her eyes and they lock onto Bunny. "Woah, my bond with her is almost as strong as my bond with you." I furrow my brows, "What does that mean?" He sighs, "I have no idea, but I'm sure that we will find out." I nod, that is the way things go. "I need to eat. I will be back and I won't go far. If you need me, call." With that, Bunny trots outside to find a meal.

Connor

Killer wants to go see Lana. So, I carry her into the living room and set her next to the bassinet on the arm of the couch. "She's precious, Connor. I love her already. My bond with her is strong, not as strong as my bond with you, but stronger than anyone else. It's strange." I scratch her head, "All things in time, Killer. The future is not known to us for a reason. I hate seeing things sometimes because I know that I can't change them." She turns her crystal blue eyes to me, "I know, that is why I am here. I think, anyways. Ew, what is that smell?" She wrinkles her tiny pink nose and I laugh, "Smells like baby sister needs a fresh diaper."

I grab her bag and carry Lana upstairs to her changing table. I have been watching youtube videos on baby care so that I can help Mom and Adrik with her. So, I change her diaper and snap her jammies back up. "There you go, Lana Bear. All clean." Lynn pops her head in the nursery, "Is that a fresh, stinky diaper?" She asks and I nod. I don't even want to know why she wants it. Her evil grin is all the info I need. She grabs it and runs down the stairs with it.

I pick up Lana, who is wide awake, and carry her back downstairs, just as Teddy strolls in the house. "Hey, Connor. What are you up to?" He asks and I smile. "Lana had a smelly diaper and Mom and Adrik are sleeping, so I took care of it." He nods and heads for the kitchen. Lynn pops her head in the front door a few moments later with a large, shit eating grin on her face. "I put it under his driver's seat." I groan, it's the middle of the summer, the heat is going to make that diaper stink, fast. "Good one, Lynn."
