When the boys had finished unpacking their things, Myles was given an entire tour of Cams old home. First he was shown his mothers writing room, which was always filled with notebooks, novels, and filled bookshelves. Next was the living room which had a large bay window that looked out into the streets of New York. The kitchen was always fully stocked in Cams house as was his mothers. The pantry was filled with treats and snacks of all sorts. Like Myles' family, Cams mother always made good profit with her work. She had successfully written 200 children's books since Cam was born. Marie had started to write because Cam always loved the story's his mother had told him as a child.

"Lets go out and celebrate tonight" Marie had said. Myles was excited when she had suggested this. It would be his first night in the big city with the man he loved by his side. They started to head out around 6:00 pm when Myles' mother had called. "Hello honey, how is everything?" Eileen asked. Myles then proceeded to tell her how the flight was and how much he had enjoyed the city so far. Cam and Marie showed Myles some of their favorite spots in the city that they liked to go to during the evening when Cam was young. Cam made sure that Myles had dressed proper because what Myles didn't know was that Cam had told his mother that they were coming and had planned to see a Broadway show the day they made it to New York. Once they had went out to dinner at Cams favorite pizza bistro, they hailed a cab and started on their way to Broadway.

Myles didn't know New York at all so it was easy to conceal from him where Cam and Marie were taking him. Finally they reached the Broadway Theatre and Myles' face was priceless once they got out of the cab. This would be Myles' first Broadway show and he was ecstatic. Once Cam, Marie, and Myles had takin their seats, Cam told Myles what show they were planning to see. It wasn't only Cams favorite show but his mothers as well. Funny Girl was all about a young ambitious girl making it big on Broadway, with a trouble making business man husband. Myles couldn't wait for the show to start and didn't want it to end. Once the show was over, Myles was in tears. The show had been so amazing that it had brought him to tears.

When they got back home Myles and Cam stood outside looking at the stars together. Myles couldn't believe how lucky he was. He had an amazing boyfriend and a wonderful new life. Myles turned and looked into Cams eyes, "I love you." he said staring deeply into the blonde boys deep blue eyes. Cam inhaled a deep breath, his eyes tearing up as he heard the love of his life speak those three short words. "I love you more." Cam replied in a shaky voice, tears running down his face. Myles cupped his hands around Cams face wiping the tears away and kissing him softly on the lips. They must have stood there for what seemed like forever, just holding each other under the full moon in the New York City street lights making theirs eyes shine. They both truly loved each other. Their was no denying their feelings for each other. From the bay window, Marie watched her son and Myles, smiling from her sons happiness.

The next few weeks felt like a dream for Myles. He couldn't believe that he was in New York with Cam, he loved it. Every morning the boys both walked to The Local Coffee. Their new favorite breakfast spot. Myles thought the lattes their were like liquid heaven. In the afternoon they'd walk through the city checking out little shops, buying souvenirs, hand in hand. Every night the boys and Marie would stay in and watch a movie, play Uno, or Cams favorite, play charades. Even though he was awful at it, Myles would always play. He loved seeing Cam smile and laugh at him making a fool of himself. Marie of course was always the champion. Cam always thought his mother was the queen of any game. After a couple rounds of Movie Trivia and a few too many glasses of wine Cam and Myles went to bed. Cam was wide awake, Myles on the other hand was a light weight and passed out immediately. Cam smiled at Myles' and tucked him in. Cam lied next to him and just stared at the beautiful dark haired boy until he had fallen asleep.

On the last night the boys were in New York, they had both decided to go out dancing at a nearby club. They had never had so much fun with each other until that night. They danced and laughed and kissed and held each other until twilight. They were on the dancefloor until closing time at 2 am. The two boys were both out of breath as they walked along the street smiling at each other from all of the fun they had just endured. Out of an alley appeared a tall man whose face was concealed in the darkness, "Give me all of your money, and don't scream" out of his back pocket he pointed a gun at the two boys. Cam immediately put Myles behind him shielding him with his body. They both emptied their pockets and threw all their money and valuables at the feet of the mugger. Cam didn't move away from Myles when the shot rang through the streets. There were no cars. No people. Nothing. Only Myles, holding his love on the dirty paved sidewalk, sobbing.
