Miles I walk
To journey forever
Along the desert
Of forgotten dreams.
Young children
Often wander
Upon the sea of yonder
And broken promises.
I live beside
The valley of pride
Who knows no shame
And has nothing to hide.
Where we shall wonder
For every forgotten
Place in history
There is something terrible
And filled with misery.
But know
That as we live
With every forsaken event
There comes a chance to truly grow.
