There once was a girl
Who was far known
For being a main character-
She was forever alone.
Her pink and blue hair
Greatly contrasted
From her mothers plain brown
And her fathers vivid black.
Her uniquely beautiful face
Made all the boys shun her
For she was too unusual
And they quite feared her.
All of the girls
Envied her
So they tried their best
To get rid of her.
Try as they may
She was as stubborn as a girl could be
And the anime main character curse
Followed her with no delay.
Along with the unwanted attention.
She received much hate.
From girls across the universe
For her unnatural state.
The burden it was
To receive such a gift
Until one day
She met a boy
With gorgeous green hair
And uniquely purple eyes.
He grabbed her hand and said
"Your one of our kind
Come with us
And we will never leave you behind."
The offer was tempting
But she shook her head
"I think that I must
Stay with my parents instead."
The golden girl
With a great burden
Proved to be she.
And although
Temptation shook her
At her time of need.
She did not hold onto any hate
Resentment
Or greed.
She followed the path
Written by her animators
And lived an unusual life
As an anime main character.
