Just one day!

In my entire eighteen years of existence never so much of events occurred in a single day.

First, I had a fight with Jennifer in the hallway which didn't actually surprise me a lot. It was usual for Jennifer to talk rudely and annoy the hell out of me. The thing which was unusual was me bumping into Tyler and Chris. I didn't talk much with Tyler but whatever encounter we had surprised me a lot.

However, I did have a little bit of civil conversation with Mr. pissy himself. Chris even asked my name! Then the incident at the cafeteria where three hottest boys of my school were waving at me and were addressing me. It was a big deal for me as they never talk to someone below them.

Well that was what I had concluded in three years at Mapril High.

As if all of that wasn't sufficient, I saw the crazy make out session between Jennifer and Blake, where Blake was sucking blood out of Jennifer's neck and now I had a suspicion that the school's most popular boy might be a vampire. As the cherry on top, I found out that my mom was pregnant and soon I'll be having one more sibling in the house.

What an eventful day.

"You still there?" My brother said from the other side. I was too engrossed in my thoughts that I completely forgot that he still hadn't hung up.

"Yea I'm here."

"so... umm.... I don't know... ummm.. how do you feel?" He asked hesitantly  as if I will come out of the phone and eat him alive for telling me something like this.

I sort of wanted to do this though.

"Actually, I don't know. I am just stunned."

"Just like the time when mom announced Jake's entry?"

I laughed at that. I still remember that day, I was celebrating my 16th birthday when mom announced it. Lucas even took my picture as he was above surprise mode cause he already knew about my mother being blessed with another baby. My mom hid it from me as she thought it will be the best birthday present for me. Which I am still trying to figure out how?. However, My face in the picture looked priceless. I somewhat resembled a goldfish, out of water and gasping for air. My eyes were pancake shaped, I even had my mouth formed in an 'O' shape.

Well yes I was beyond shocked.

"Hahaha it's not that. I think I am beyond that now. I think, I am stunned because I can't believe that this still surprised me considering our parents. So yeah maybe I am stunned as to how mom is pregnant at the age of fifty." I told Lucas honestly.

"Yeah, even Hilary was surprised. But she thought it will be cute if she will be able to cuddle my sister or brother. You know how much she loves Jake."

Hillary was Lucas's girlfriend from highschool. They joined the college together as they don't want to have long distance relationship or partially because of my brother's overprotective nature. After all Hillary was very beautiful and was very shy and innocent. I don't have any idea as to how on earth Lucas managed to get a girl like Hilary as she was stark opposite to him. Lucas was a trouble kid at school. He was in football team and was very arrogant just like his other jock friends. Hilary was in fact assigned to teach Lucas some subject, in which he was failing. I don't remember when they started dating but one day Lucas brought her home and all of us instantly liked Hilary.
