Once Lucas was reading some motivational things on Internet. He then told me that when situations in life gets tough, don’t say ‘why me' say ‘try me'.
Well to hell to such things.
Cause Tyler was dragging me towards the parking lot and with each second I was getting closer to the parking lot the bricks I was shitting in my pants were becoming bigger. The fact that Tyler was holding my hand and was grinning like he got the best present for his birthday was not really helpful.
So the situation I was in was extremely tough, but in my head I sure as hell was screaming ‘Why me!’
I couldn’t even stand properly in their presence let alone be in the closed space such as a car!
I knew I couldn’t handle that situation and I needed to do everything possible to get out of there. But there was an itsy bitsy problem— my mind went completely blank so I could not come up with any good excuse to get out of there.
I thought of trying one more time. So I mustered all my courage and spoke, "Umm.... I don’t want to bother you guys. It'll be okay, there will be a bus any time soon or maybe I can just walk to my home. You see it is such a pleasant weather and I am getting fat.... I think I should do more exercise and since everyone knows that walking is such a great exercise, I think I...," My rant was cut short by Chris’s agitated voice.
“Can somebody shut her up!” Chris said bit rudely.
Alright I really need to stop making Chris angry.
“She is weird.” Blake remarked very casually as we reached towards his car.
“No she is not.” Tyler came to my defence. I mentally thanked Tyler but then realised he was the reason I was under such condition.
Well to hell to thanking him.
“Excuse me!” I tried to mark my presence there but obviously I was misinterpreted and ignored.
“See again she beg to differ Tyler.” Chris said smugly.
Tyler again looked at me as if asking me if I am weird or not? Jeez!
“I..,” I began again but this time Blake cut me off.
“Come on look it is so sunny today. Where is the good weather Amanda? I swear to god I am melting a bit inside.” Blake commented on my previous statement making me remember my mom's earlier statements about the same. I thought about what he said and my suspicion on him, The fact that it favours my doubt was scary enough for me to clamp my mouth shut.
“Yeah and she thinks she is getting fat.” Chris said sarcastically looking at me.
“I don’t know about earlier but you sure as hell is far from Fat right now.” Chris concluded after gazing me up and down, making me blush.
“See weird.” Blake told Tyler while pointing at me.
“What?...” I was again very rudely interrupted by Blake.
“Look just get in the car and stop wasting our time.” Blake said in a very authoritative tone making no room for any further conversation.
This was the end I guess.
“But..” I whispered. I thought none of them heard me however I got Chris's attention meanwhile Blake already got inside the car.
“Now what?” he asked in a very bored tone.
“Umm.. My house is in opposite direction....” I began but Chris didn’t let me finish it.
“How do you know?”
