'Think before you speak', it was something I had been learning since I was a little girl. Yet, here I was, sitting in my bed thinking about everything that had blurted out of my mouth.
I should have thought about it. I should have thought before speaking. I should have thought about the consequences of my words!
But I can't really do anything now. And I have no freaking idea about what Blake will do to me.
Blake's threats for me and my family were still ringing like a warning bells in my ears. I remembered his angry face clearly, when he said that or more like threatened me. I was so scared that even sleep sounded strange to me. I couldn't help than to just think about all the events that had happened today.
~~
After they left me there, I was stunned at everything that had happened, I stood rooted to the spot, still gazing at the distance. My mind felt fuzzy with different thoughts, I knew something was wrong but things could be this worse was something that never crossed my mind.
Moments later I regained my lost abilities as the people around me were giving me a strange look. I thought for a while that it must be due to my shocked state but on following their gazes, I saw they were in fact looking at my worn out house flip flops. They all were giving me weird looks and the fact that I was not properly dressed for the place was definitely bugging them. The disgusted look on their face didn't go unnoticed by me as well.
Fluck these rich people and their judgemental looks!
With that in mind, I took out my phone to get the directions home. Since Blake was my ride home and with him gone, I was left with two options —either to walk to my place or take a bus as taking a cab was definitely out of question considering the few dollars in my Jeans pocket. I found a bus stop near that place and began walking to it. On reaching the bus stop, I saw two or three people lingering here and there.
Guess noone takes a bus these days.
When the bus arrived I took a seat at the back. While sitting on the bus I was recalling the events of the past few days. Everything was so strange, from seeing an angry Blake to a moody Tyler. That day too, it was all very strange. I have never seen Blake so angry. I have never even seen Tyler to be any less cheerful. Chris was also awfully quiet. However, I concluded that the scary guy was way too scary for my liking. I absolutely had no idea how I managed to spend almost an hour sitting between them and answering their questions. Well I didn't do a great job at it, but at least I didn't passed out. Which was a great achievement for me.
Blake's threat was enough for me to think that something was definitely wrong. I didn't know whether Jennifer was involved in it or not but right then, I could care less, as Blake and Chris were enough to ruin my entire life. The life threats that Blake and the scary guy gave me were enough to send a chill down my spine and somehow, I believed they were not just the mere threats due to the evident anger on both of their faces.
But those were not the only strange thing happened to me that day.
There was a man in the bus. Sitting almost two seats ahead of mine, he was continuously turning to look at me. If that man was stalking me or trying to be a creep, he wasn't doing a great job at hiding it. I remember seeing him at the bus stop, but I didn't noticed him until then. The guy was wearing a hoodie with the hood covering his head and half face. It was hard for me to look at his face clearly, but I was sure I didn't know him. With a stern look, determination and sending a small prayer to heaven hoping that the elder woman at the front do not get off prior to me, I finally get off at my stop. I turned to notice the guy still looking at me through the glass of the window. This time I noticed something, concern? The guy looked concerned to me? But again I could be delusional.
