Do you remember
when we were kids,
and the floor was floor?
Oh
how we'd scamper about,
running from couch to cushion
to avoid getting burned from the hot magma.
But now we are adults
and to think when we were kids
we had it right.
The floor is lava,
but there's nothing
for us to jump onto
to save ourselves from the burns.
