Anina!be fast with tidying up your room and tidy up mine too,I'm heading to the shop now, hurry up and meet me there, OK mum I replied reluctantly,I didn't plan to wake up this early Today which i Saturday, 'my mum',she is always waking up so early everyday, after graduation,I will have the whole time to sleep and wake up anytime I want to before getting admission into a university.
I tidied up my room and head to my mum's.
I stand at akimbo glancing through the room,there are more than five boxes on her wardrobe,I wonder what's in them,I got a glimpse of a small beautifully decorated black box that's in between the bigger boxes which caught my interest,I took the box,sat down on the couch that's at left side of the room and opened it.
My mouth widened open looking at a gold bracelet with my name customized on it,Wow it's really beautiful, I tried it on and it looks perfect on my wrist.
I have never seen a customized bracelet made with gold till today well I have seen it before but on TV and now I have a gold bracelet and my name is on it,I'd better pinch myself, its like a dream,I look inside the box,thinking I might find another thing, A picture of a man was inside who I never saw before,why did my mum never told me about the bracelet, it's strange discovering the box that contains a picture of a man and a gold bracelet.
I'm aware my mum is hiding something from me which I had asked her severally but she never gave me an answer,she might have a good reason for not telling me anything.
no one knows how I feel about not knowing who my father is, I'm eighteen,old enough to withstand anything, I Will ask her Today,she might probably tell me.
I Quickly tidy up the room,and head to the shop.
Mum !I called out,she turned back,leaving the flour she was mixing, 'my dear"she called out and resume to what she was doing.
I walked closer to her,mum who is this man? She was stunned by me holding the picture,she instantly snatched the picture from me, where did you get it she asked stammering in between words, I saw it inside a black box with this bracelet I responded and also showed her the bracelet.
Mum who is he and this gold bracelet, I'm really confuse. Just forget about it, you can wear the bracelet if you want to. I thought as much, she always change the topic of discussion.
Mum,look at me,I'm not a kid anymore, I'm eighteen,I can take anything, this thing you are hiding is making me go insane,please mum tell me, I begged.
Anina! , I'm will tell you everything but not now,untill when mum?when I'm old I added, I promise it will be soon,I'm not ready to tell you now,please my daughter be patience, this secret thing involves my dad right? I asked,she nods looking around, OK I just came to ask you about the man in the picture and the bracelet which I didn't get any answer,I'm heading to ASLAK,I walked out of the shop feeling angry and unhappy.
Late again! Laila scoffed,I'm sorry guys.
So I printed the song lyrics, I shared the paper and they looked through it.
"Let's start singing",Samar uttered, I started the first lines and they sang along,within an hour they were all acquainted with the song.

Anina cool bracelet, kalita said looking at my customized gold bracelet, OMG! Samar pulled the bracelet from my wrist to look at it,this bracelet is made with gold right? She asked,I nodded, were you given as a gift or what?well I saw it this morning in my mum's room ,alongside a picture of a man,I was stunned when I saw it,a bracelet with my name !.......I was so confuse,"my name on a gold bracelet",I asked my mum but she didn't tell me anything,what about the man ,did you know him, he might be the one that made you the bracelet laila stated. I haven't thought of that, and why will he buy me a gift has expensive as this,and I have never met sew him before or recently,let's just skip this conversation, I don't want to start thinking about who the man is and what's his relationship with mum and I. I just hope my mom would tell me what she is hiding soon.
