CHAPTER 12

It was already  exam period, I was happy because  we were  almost going home for vacation , huh!,I can't wait  to have a break from school, at least  I won't be  waking up  as early as 6am every weekdays and this past days, my friends  and I were always studying,we are now serious academically than before, we applied for  scholarship in a very  good university and all we need is a good result,we will have to  pass all our subjects with flying colors.

Reading sucks sometimes  but we don't have a  choice we just have to continue  studying. I always wanted to be medical doctor  from childhood,to build a hospital,care for the  sick,also take good care of  my mum.

After the exam, Alin organised a show named,"talent exhibition ",it's all about the students showcasing  their  talent on different  things  which include singing, dancing, talk show,drama,comedy ,poem reading and rap battle.
It was really exciting, entertaining and the  students had fun.
Alin also got himself more admirers which makes his ego more  bigger.

After a week,we were given vacation, I was so excited,i'd written  down  how and what to do this break,mostly hanging with my friends minus Samar because she is travelling to Dubai .

We decided to go to the beach during weekend, and fortunately it's Sunday, a free day for me, Laila came over to my place so we make couple of snacks to take to the beach,Alin and Kalita came with a car and we head to the beach.  we played  volleyball with a group of people which was fun because  we were Winning, after that Laila and I  kneeled down on the sand trying to  build a castle.
'I remember  when  my family and I came to  the beach although it's been long,guess when I was five,we built  castle and also funny faces, it was so fun  and my dad would carry me on his shoulder and run towards the water with me,saying he will drop me inside the water which frightened me and also chase me and my siblings around the  beach,while my mum looked at us', laila chuckled, yeah it's really amazing,i looked at Laila,she is so lucky to have a wonderful family also my other friends,they all have a father and a siblings  while  me I don't even know  who my father is or how he looks like. Excuse me, where are you going,we are not done here? I will just stroll for thirty seconds and come back. She nodded,

i strolled  down the beach,i stood and stare at a girl playing with her father at the side of  the sea, he Splashes water on her and she also did the same,and now she was chasing him to splash him water and they both look so happy.
I touched my cheek and noticed a tear dropped on my cheek, gosh! I'm emotional now,i wiped my tear and return to my friends trying to put on a happy face.

Laila and Kalita were almost finishing with making the castle, well done guys I muttered, thanks ,where is Alin? He is over there talking to  some girls Laila answered, oh I see.
Alin will never change,i got a glimpse of him,oh my goodness,did you guys see the girls he is talking to?  I asked with my eyes widened, wow they are hot ! Kalita commented, no I mean they are older than  him, they look matured Laila added, so ? there is nothing with asking someone that's older than you out. Kalita explained,i rolled my eyes to his comment, let me leave you ladies and go join my friend over there he said and winked at us which make me and Laila tsk.
Hey Anina,lets go play with water,no I'm not going you can go, please Anina,i can't play alone, OK let's go, She pulled me to the side of the sea and stated splashing water on me,i wasn't splashing back,i stood staring at the sea because recall my thoughts from earlier  and it made me dismal, I'm sorry  Laila I'm not in the mood,i strolled back to my sit looking around the  beach.
What's  wrong,are you okay?  Laila asked, yes I'm fine, I forced a smile, OK,if anything is disturbing you please  tell me, OK Laila. We exchanged smiles and she went back to the side of the sea.

We head home in the evening,I was so exhausted, what I need now is a cold shower and then peaceful sleep. I opened the door and entered the  passage before  sitting  room, I took a step towards the sitting room  and I over heard  a lady's voice saying "have you told  Anina that you are not her biological mother. I took another step and I'm now standing in the sitting room, my heart stammered widely against my chest wondering what is happening. You are not my biological mother? I asked confused and annoyed, Anina my child,i was looking  for the right time to tell you, I'm sorry, tears rolled down my cheek simultaneously.
I will be on my way now, the lady said and left ominously. i can feel the tension in the room rises.
