CHAPTER 14

We  both strolled  to a cafe few blocks away from the mall, we ate and talked about the vacation and random stuffs while strolling back to the mall.

I really enjoy spending this few minutes with you he muttered smiling as always, I looked away trying to hide my blush, he chuckled, it seems he already saw me blushing.
I will be on my way now, take care, I nodded and watched him exit the mall.

I got home, feeling so Exhausted and hungry, I dropped  my bag on my bed and head  to the  kitchen to find something to eat.
Anina!,I turned to look at the source of the voice, good  evening, I greeted and turned back to the bowl of soup I removed from the fridge.
Why are you uncomfortable when you see me? She asked, I turned to look at her, I'm not uncomfortable with you, I'm just tired and I need to  rest, that's all.
OK, go rest after eating,she came closer kissed  my forehead and gave me a warm smile.
I'm going to my room now, goodnight  my child, I watched her exit the kitchen and then I turned to warm the soup.

After eating, I took a shower and lie on the bed, I recalled what happened yesterday evening. I wish it was just a dream, I really have to stop behaving awkward when ever I  see her even though she is not my biological mother, after all she has been my mother since childhood.

My phone ranged, I smiled when I saw the caller, 'hey Samar', Anina how are you doing?, I'm good, how are your family and Dubai, cool, guess what?  What I asked, guess first you dummy I chuckled ,I really miss her joke. You are crushing on a Arab guy  I guessed. Lol no, we are coming back tomorrow, like seriously?,yeah,  I shouted for two seconds, I really miss you  guys, I bought couple of stuffs for you guys and I want to see your dumbass faces tomorrow in ASLAK by 12:00noon, kisses, I hang up, I'm so excited to see her but my work, what should I tell my boss," I really have to go ASLAK", I'm going to find a way I whispered pouting.

The next day, I tidy up the house, freshen up and head to the mall, before 12, I walked to my boss office while  thinking of what to say. I took a deep breath, sighed and knock the door. I was given permission and I entered.

His gaze was on a magazine on his table before he turned to look at me, "sir please can you give me the permission to leave work today ". Why Anina? ,'actually  my aunt  that I haven't seen  for seven years now just arrived today with my cousins, I could have waited  till evening, but they are going   back before evening, so I won't be able to see them', he was  quiet for some seconds, I bet he is thinking of his reply, he should  just say yes, please say yes I whispered.

'sir if you want, I will work double tomorrow' I muttered, OK you can go, thank you so much sir I said grinning widely and I scurried down to pick my bag and head to ASLAK.
