Chapter 5

"Are you insane? I thought you've been looking for her for a hundred years!" Drake yelled making my ears twitch.

"I have but you should know better than anyone else that this world would snap her in half especially if the werewolves find her."

"Did she find out it was you? Or did you stay in cat form?"

"No, I think she knows..."

"Well we must get her than!"

"And risk her life! How about no."

"Fine at least tell me which village you left her at..."

"The north one."

Drake lets out an almost disappointed sigh. I can see what he's thinking now and trying so hard not to say. Are you insane. The question that I can see in his eyes begging to be released from his lips. I know the north human village is filled with people who struggle to survive purely because their pride doesn't allow them to not attack every super natural they come across. They have wars regularly and often come across as stupider than stupid. Although all of those points may seem bad she is human and a human camp is better than having her live with us in the supernatural world.

My ear twitches and my tail sways back and forth.

"She needs to be with her own kind. She can't live in this world. I won't let her."

He lets out a sigh but agrees.

"So why are you here for?"

I look around the rubble down building hardly staying up after all these years. Before looking back at the young dragon.

"I haven't seen the pack or strays around as of late which means they have moved south was the winter or they've gone in hiding. I think the west hunters are emerging, I'm just warning you now. I don't want to see another one of us get captured."

"I will keep an eye out but I have a question. Have you found any more blood packs?"

"Not in a while... don't worry though I will be okay." I give a slight smile knowing that if I don't get blood soon my dark side will go into blood lust and we will all be doomed.
