In Between

In Between : Is This The Day Of Honor ? ? ?

Tomorrow morning , a loud bang from my door forced me to wake up  . It was my sister Ali, that was knocking and shouting . I slowly sat up and stretched with a mark of disturbance in my face . The alarm was hardly alarming , I realized that I wasn't ready to get up and took a bath . Until I realized that today is the moving up day .

My heart starts to pound and beat fastly . I stood up from my polished bed and didn't remember that I was still sleepy . I decided to take a shower . I was excited I couldn't barely took a nice and real shower . I just dip my whole body into my bathtub for 5 minutes .

After that , I wear my white dress and the white tall boots . I pick up the perfume that my mom buy when we we're in Paris . I sprayed it all over in my dress .

I quickly go downstairs and meet my hairdresser and the make up artist . Which is my sister Ali and my mom . They fixed me like I'm an angel . Ali , braid my hair while my mom put black eyelashes and eyeliner in me . White eyeshadows make my eyes came alive because it's light brown .  So my mom decided to put the white eyeshadows instead of silver . But silver also looked great at me .

After a several minutes my sister and my mom finished fixing me . My mom grabbed the car keys and gave it to Ali . Ali and I go outside . She drive faster than I expected .

When we arrived there , I saw many parents waiting in the waiting area .

“Are you ready to rock , Samantha ? ” Ali asked curiously .

“Yeah , I can rock it ! ” I replied .

Then I saw my Lizzie , Roxanne and Joshua . Waiting for me to come and join them . Therefore I decided to leave my sister in the waiting area . I ran towards them as fast as I could .

I saw Joshua was waiting for me to reach him but the guard accidentally bumped me while he wasn't looking at the path that he was gonna take . He was using his bike . I can see that he was gonna go to the gate to open it for the other visitors .

“ I'm sorry , Sam . ” The guard apologize .

“ It's ok , don't worry about me . ” I replied .

The guard continue to bike . I looked back at the guard , I pity him . I mean he has so many scratches than  me .
Joshua offered his hand willingly so I accept it .
We walked inside the building .

When we arrived​ there , my teacher was the first person that approached me .

“ Let's go Sam , we need to retouch your make up . ” The teacher offered . She was standing in front of me .

She was wearing hot pink empire cut blouse . With the match of a black shorts and  pink glitter high heels  .

But I didn't accept it ,  instead I recommended my dull friend named Alliah Peterson  . Alliah was a simple type of girl . She was kind and loving . She can't even hurt insects or animals . She was the most ideal girlfriend in our age . Her hair was straight and blonde . Her dream was to help the single mothers .

Because her mom was once a single - mom . Her father left her mother the night that something happened to them .After that her mother hadn't heard any news from Alliah's . Her mother was the only one that raised her since the day she was born .

Ok , where am I ? Oh right , about retouching the make-up .

“ Sam , let's go ! We're next ! ” Joshua commanded as I quickly walked towards to him .

   The people applaud as soon as they seen the cast . We entranced smoothly .

  “ It's gonna be fine . By the way . . . ” Joshua added .

   I knew that he was gonna say something but it was interrupted by the school bell . Everyone was so worried . Then someone shouted ear-splitting . He was wearing plain black t-shirt and a black ripped pants . He quickly stepped forward to the stage and snatch the thing that the host was holding .

   “ There's a fire . Please follow the guy next to the back door . He will lead you to the fire exit . . . ” The black
t-shirt guy said .

    Then the other came and hold our arms . I can't recognize her face but I suspected it was Grace . She was wearing a black leather jacket and a navy blue skinny jeans . She helped us exit to the fire thing .

   120 minutes later . . .

   All I can hear was gossip of how the fire starts . Especially Eugene's mom . I heard that she was the first that was spreading the story .

   “ Sorry for the incident earlier . ” Our principal explained .

   “ How about our sons and daughters certificate ! ” One parent asked cluelessly .

    “ We'll just deliver it to your home  , and you can go home now . Thank you everyone ! ” Our principal replied .

    As she was taking her steps to the back room . She was so nervous . She was worrying about the parents that was war freak .

   My family decided to eat at the restaurant near our school . The president of it died two years ago so her daughter decided to rule it . She changed it , the decorations , the model and the food . It became modern and cool .

   Last time we checked it was . . .
I can't remember , but I think last year .

  Anyway we entered to the restaurant and then I saw Ali's ex . Remember , that asshole  “ Jack ” !

  I don't know what to do . I know that there would be a new episode of my life if that happened . The wheels on my head was turning rapidly . But then suddenly Ace suddenly shouted . He caught everyone's attention even the people eating at the restaurant . There was blood in his forearm . Then a lady came to perform the first aid which is called first aider . So Zach , carry Ace to his shoulder .

   Jack saw us but Ali didn't saw him . Ace was wounded but not deep . We decided to go to the hospital . When we arrived there . A doctor and a nurse came towards to us . The doctor bring the emergency bed . The one with wheels .

   I don't know what it is called . I think I forgot it . Even if I was grade 5 becoming a grade 6 , my brain still don't work well . When I was a kid , I was so challenged at memorizing things like “ always fix the bedroom ” or
“ sweep the dust every morning ” . My mom always reminds that . She wants me to be perfect . But everyone isn't perfect , right . Some believed that God was the only perfect in the world . But some believed that God did some mistakes .
