In Between

In Between : Goodbye

  I simper and heard the laughters of Alliah and Liz with highschool graduates . But why do I care anyway . I walk forward to the billiard table .

  “ Wanna have some juice ? ” Clyde asked when ha saw me , I nod . Rico and Zack left  us to flirt to some of the girls there .

  “ How have you been ? ” Joshua asked , while he took his last shot at the billiards .

  I want to say I'm fine but I couldn't. So I just shut my mouth . He gazed at me , I couldn't look him in the eye , I looked down .

“ How's Cedric ? ” Joshua asked a question again that I can't answer .

Then my phone buzz . At a second , I thought about him , Cedric , my friend . I realized that Joshua wasn't my type at all . Because Cedric , is . I just didn't have him a chance to prove it while I always gave a chance , when it comes to Joshua .

   I'm not being like this because Joshua left me behind . It's just , Cedric is 2 years ahead of me but he came to me and asked me if we can be friends .

  “ You okay ? ” Joshua asked worriedly , I pinched my lips . “ You've been quiet for the last 3 minutes . ”

  Then I started to run like hell , I remember that today's Cedric flight to Germany . A several cabs had passed , but I didn't get one , because there is always someone getting it .

  Oh there is another ! This is my opportunity and only 5 minutes till Cedric would be gone forever .

“ Taxi ! ”

  But a guy snatched it from me , luckily the guy is Red Stewart . Wearing a ripped jeans and red shirt inside a blue trench coat , carrying a black backpack .

  “ Samantha , this yours ? ”

  He asked , I smiled. I run and close the door the he opened for me .

  I gave the picture of the airport to the taxi driver .

  “ Take me to this airport . ”

  I am in a hurry , my hands are called as I was before . But my heart's on fire .

4 minutes had passed and we still aren't there . The minutes are like an hour for me . Then the cab stopped so I smiled and gazed up . That's why , I hare to the entry of the airport . But I gave the money first before I hare .

   But " Just My Luck " my shoes got stuck into a hold of a rock . So I chose to take it off and chase Cedric's flight . Then once I'm inside the airport , the policeman and his German Shepherd followed me .

   “ Sorry ma'am , but you are underage to enter here without guardians . ” The policeman said , while his dog barked so loud . It's quite scary .

   But what are my choices , I'm out of choices but I remember that I brought my pepperspray . I slowly take it out and spray some of it to the policeman and his dog . After that I gallop to the schedule on the flat screen TV and saw . . . . . . his flight had already departed .

  I felt more than sorry and 2 policeguys handcuffed me . I am so black and empty .

4 hours had passed and I am still seatin' in a chair inside a white plain room . I heard a familiar women's voice behind the white door . Then someone opened the door and my prediction is right . It's my mom with her 2 sidekicks , Lizzie and Joshua .

  “ We came as soon as we received the call from here . What happened , Samantha ? ” Mom asked worriedly , I saddened looked down .

  Liz hugged me very tightly , so as Joshua . “ Are you okay ? ” Joshua asked while Lizzie smooch my neck .

  Furthermore , we walked until we get outside , Joshua get the car to the parking lot . My mom is shrugging my shoulders . I can't help but wonder , “ did he really leave me , just like that ” .

   As soon as we get inside the car . I lay down my head to Joshua's shoulder just for a minute .

  I blink and when I open my eyes  . I am jolt to saw Cedric waving his right arm at me . I smiled and about to come closer .

   When I was about to touch him , I can't do it . My fondle pass through him , I realized he's just my illusion and won't exist .

   “ I won't lose you again . ” I murmured to myself . “ No matter what happen , I'll find you and never disregard you . ”

   ❤ Sorry to disappoint you . But I'll try to make the part 2 if I'm not very busy . I'm still having 2nd thoughts about the title whether it is “ In Between : Forward ” or “ In Between : Forget ”
