In Between : Wounded

4 hours later . . . .

The doctor came out from the room of Ace.  With a paper in his hand . I think it was the result . My mother,  Ali and Zach stood up suddenly  .

  “ How's Ace,  doctor? ” Ali asked as zach put his arm around Ali's shoulder . Ali lay down ti him as soon as possible  .

  “ He's  gonna be okay,  he just need some rest . ” The doctor replied.  “ By the way my name is Ezra Lewis.  ” The doctor added.

  He slowly took his steps away from us.  By the way I still didn't describe the hospital.  Well . . . I don't think I wanna explain it  to you right now.  I'm a little upset here.

  We all decided to entrance to the room which is room 2006.  Ace has a cement  in his right forearm.  The doctor said . . . Oh right,  uhm Dr . Ezra told us that it can heal Ace's forearm.  I forgot what it is called but mother knows.  I supposed to asked her but she wasn't looking good . She seems upset and horrible.

   The truth is , I'm envious over my cousin Ace . My mom was a more worried about Ace than me.  When I got into an accident when I was 7 years old.  She scold me for nothing. 

   My classmates suspected me for getting their mechanical pencil . They suspected me because I was once an ugly bitch.  My mom thought it was true.  She made me embarrassed  in front of my friends.  When she knew the truth she didn't  even say sorry to me . Nor look she's regretting  .
When we got home . . . .

  “ Can you please throw the garbage , honey ! ” She asked me while she sit to our polished couch that I manually  fixed .

  She was once an asshole but then I remembered  everything  that she'd been through for me . She make herself tough for me . My father died on a cancer after that she met someone in Paris . But that someone is abusing us .

  Anyway that's all in the past so I moved on already . Do you know where this line came from .

   It makes sense right here,  right now . But then a knock on the door surprised . I opened the door and saw Julie . She hugged me tight as if there was no tomorrow  . I barely  can't breathe . After that she walked straight to Ace  . I looked at them and step forward .

   Julie hug Ali also and touch Ace's face . Ali continued to cry . Then I received a call from Joshua . Everyone in the room looked at me.

  “ Could you please get out? ” Ali asked nicely

   “ Okay ! ”  I replied in a nice way. 

  I opened the door and get out . I answered the phone furiously.  And he said .

Joshua : Hello Sam ?
Samantha : What is it ?
Joshua : I just want to invite you to my party tomorrow  and bring another friend
Samantha  : Is that all ?
Joshua : Yes ! . . . Wait ! Don't  hang up .
Samantha  : What is it ?
Joshua : I just forget to tell you one thing. 
Samantha  : What ! ! !
Joshua  : We have a dress code,  wear something  white and black but elegant . And come here at 4:00 PM
Samantha  : Okay , thanks .

  After that I opened the door and felt extremely  exhausted . I didn't even felt excited  . I whispered  to the ear of my mother .

  “ I gotta go home and bring  clothes for you and Ali . ” I whispered to her while my head was getting dizzy. 

  “ Okay.  ” She permitted me and I fastly get out from the room.  Like a tornado.

  1 hour past . . . .

  I arrived  at my place and it was pretty  long ride.  There was a traffic and I was too late to get off .

  After the cab leaves , I run to Liz's  house  and push the doorbell  . I heard a very strange husky voice inside  Lizzie's  house . The voice were like a girl. 

  “ Wait a second!  ” The girl said .

Finally the door opened and I saw Liz holding a glass of water and dressed like an old woman. 
The first thought that came on my mind it was her grandma.  Until she began to talk. 

   “ Hey ! It's me Liz!  ” Liz said while  her eyes became large .

  “ Oh yes!  ” I replied  as I wonder where is her parents. 

  “ Wait here!  I'm just gonna get my coat  and let's talk outside.  ” Lizzie said.  She walks away and get her beige trench coat  .

   After a second  , she came back to me and lock their door for security  .

  “ So what is it ? ” Lizzie  asked as she started to lead the way. 

   “ It's about . . . ” I shuddered  while I saw people laughing  at me.  I suddenly  remember  the dress I am wearing  . I looked like a anime .

   “ Oh! Damn! ” I whispered to myself when I hurry run to our house .

    Liz followed me to my home and she stayed  until I was dressed in a white simple dress with a match of a white shoes.  It takes  a while for me to dress. 
But I worked fast until I came downstairs  and talk to her. 

    “ Let's go ! Faster ! ” I commanded her until she walked. 

  We walked slowly when talking about the party .

Samantha : I want to invite you to the party of Joshua tomorrow at 4:00 pm . He said that I should bring some friends . So I'm thinking bringing you . Is that okay ?
Lizzie : Sure but can I at least bring Alliah with us . Tomorrow at the party .
Samantha : Sure no prob . But wear something black 'n white but elegant and nice . But not too much or we would look like an old maid . You know what I mean right ? We would look like too boring . Just wear black 'n white , elegant but interesting .
Lizzie : Okay ! That's not that hard . I'll just call her , could you wait a minute ?
Samantha : Sure no prob . You know me  .

  Lizzie pull out her phone from her beige trench coat . She took her steps away from me . She dialed Alliah and I was just standing at her back .

2 minutes later . . . .

   I recognized her that she was already finish so I began to talk .

   “ So is she coming ? ” I questioned her as she looks so excited . 

   “ Yes ! ” She replied to me as she was gonna blow up in excitement .

   We walk and walk and walk until my feet stop moving forward .

    “ Excuse me , mister . You were blocking our path . ” Lizzie reacted much .

   “ Excuse me , ma'am ! What are you saying ?”
The big man said .

   Lizzie was frightened because of what she saw . She saw a man that is extremely  fat , 6 foot tall and looks like a biker . We just ran away and when we realized we are enough far . We just laugh and laugh until we noticed that we are lost . . . .
