In Between: Yes or No

"Get over it ok or you won't have you favorite snack popcorn and coke ." Joshua challenged me ,as we entered to their front gate of their house .

"Ok but where's your friends, Joshua?" I asked him as I looked to their house , wondering where his friends could be .
"Well Zack is in his mother and Clyde is in his girlfriend Maggie," he said . "So do you still want your snack ?"

"Yes of course !" Josh opened their refrigerator and get the popcorn and coke .

"Here you go , " said Josh , thinking what we can do while I'm here in their house

"So Joshua what was the question that your gonna say when we are in the school bus " , curiously thinking what was the question is all about.

"Uhm well about that ."

Then he paused for a second

"I'm just hoping if you could join me in our families dinner ." Then he smiled but feels tense .

" I can come with you , I just needed my mother's​ approval "

Then he suddenly looked delighted

" Fine , then I'll just meet you tomorrow at 5:00pm at your house ."

Smile a little and he suddenly turned back looking down on something​ shiny .

"Uhm , bye for now . My mom is waiting for me to come home ."

I stand up and see a picture that is a little big like a passport size .

"It's my mom and dad. " Remembering a strong memory from the past , I guess

"Ok" saying it to comfort him from he's rough childhood .
