To Alice, if you ever choose to read this soul crushing book again,
There will always be death. That is the one thing man cannot escape. Ever. Death is fair, Death is cruel, Death, Death, Death. The one that stalks and steals. Although he, himself does not kill; humans do. Humans will, and humans kill. Does that make sense, no? Ah well, it wasn't suppose to.
I have seen Death. Not his face, but his work. The sight of life leaving the eyes, stolen by the cruel and just creature. I have seen but, not caused. Not in so many words anyway. Oh dear, I apologize Alice, I seem to be losing and leading myself in a tangle tumble twirl of nonsense. So, not very different than any other day.
Death isn't actually evil, well I don't see him that way. He's just completing a circle. Our circle.
