You stand at the base of MT. Ebott, with your mom, your dad, your brother Jordan, and your best friend McKenna. You take a deep breath, and take the lead as you ascend the great mountain.
You and your company walk for what feels like hours. You are nervous and a little scared. You know the fall will hurt. You crest a big hill, and then you see it. A gaping hole at the top of the mountain, with dangerous looking roots around it's rim. No wonder it is so easy to fall.
For a second, you thought you saw one MOVE. You decide to shrug it off, and think it was do to your nervousness. "Wow!" You hear someone gasp. It turns out, it was everyone. They had all gasped at the same time. You begin to edge closer, but feel a hand on your shoulder. " I don't know (Your Name)". It is Jordan. You reasure him that you will be careful, and you and McKenna edge closer. Your Mom gasps. You whip around and what you see scares you. One of the roots has wrapped it self around everyone's ankle. You look down as you feel a pressure on YOUR leg. Sure enough, you have been caught. "Well, at least I don't have to get everyone to jump" you say. " WHAT!" Everyone but McKenna shouts in unison. You thought about explaining, but before any words left your mouth you were dragged into the abyss. You hear a string of cuss words and someone say "Oh god..." And darkness takes over.
