You walk up to Asriel, and since Jordan can't give him a hug of KINDNESS, you give him a conforting hug of DETERMINATION. He begins to cry, ashamed of the things he has done. You say "Its ok Asriel. You didn't have a soul. You couldn't even feel regret until now!" This seems to confort him. Next is the hard question. The hard 2 questions.

Number 1: you say, "Asriel, do you want to see your dad?" The little goat boy nods at you. So first things first, you check on Chara. She stares manicly at Asriel, but has temporarily ceased her escape effort. So then you guide Asriel to the hall, where your family awaits the results of battle nervously. The laws of battle prohibited anyone but Chara entering another's battle. Everyone looks up at you and Asriel. Asgore is dumbfounded, and begins to cry. "My son?" You pull your company over and fill them in while Asgore and Asriel have a heart felt reunion. Then you sheepishly walk up to Asriel and tap his shoulder, preparing for question 2.

"So... Uh... Asriel? I am (your name) and uh... I have an important question to ask you." He replies, "Nice to meet you (your name)! What is it?" You look down. "Could you, uh... Maybe give the souls back? We... Uh need them." He also looks down. "What do you need them for?" He asks. You fill him in on everything, and he is shocked to discover that his best friend has become a megalomaniac. But with reluctance, he agrees to hand them over to McKenna. You comfort him with a DETERMINED hug. You say "Maybe we could let you keep one so that you can feel again!" Even though you are not sure that that is true, it seems to give him hope. He flashes a bright purple for a moment, one of the soul's PERSERVERENCE shining through. The relinquishing begins. Asriel stands in the hall of judgement and takes a deep breath. The souls slowly float forth as if preparing for battle. Asriel than uses his own force to push them down into the glass holders that keep the souls unharmed. He collapses in a flash of bright yellow light, and as it dims, a golden flower appears once again. It opens its little eyes to a crowd of people. "What are you looking at?" It says. It pops back in the ground, mumbling, "I've had enough drama for one day. I am going back to the ruins." As he leaves, Ashore sheds a tear, making a silent promise to visit the ruins.
