You look around you, trying to spot (Your name) or Sans. Or even (Your Name)'s parents would be a comfort right now. They are adults, and given the circumstances you all 'fell' into (haha!), they feel a lot like your aunt and uncle. As you look, you spot nothing but emptiness. You might describe it as empty darkness, but somehow it is Darker, yet darker then darkness. It disturbes you. And not just you.
§ "I don't like this..."
Ω "Me neither!"
θ "Something's... Off..."

You startle as some of the souls pipe up, before remembering the absorption. Your thoughts wonder to the warm feeling it gave you, trying in vain to comfort yourself. Your thoughts don't get very far.

A cold, light hand rests on your shoulder. You jump practically ten feet in the air (void? Does this place have air?). You whip around, not knowing what you might find. This whole idea of a void is vaguely familiar. As you turn, you see nothing but two floating white hands and a floating white skull. The poor skull has two long cracks running down the face. One of them is from the top of his left eye to the top of his skull. The other runs from the bottom of his right eye to his wide distorted grin. You then realize why his head and hands look like they're floating. The thing's body is only a slightly lighter dark then the emptiness of the void. It takes a moment, but your Undertale knowledge does not dessert you. "Gaster" you say. He flashes back a step, taken aback by your words. His hands fly through the air, in a flowing hand language that you don't recognize. You know sign language, and its not that. He realizes you don't understand him, so he tries to speak. "G-go ba-back!" He says with a raspy voice. A little window into the regular world opens up, and you get the hint. You walk towards it, but turn back to say one more thing. "Is there a way to save you?" You ask. You hate seeing Gaster suffer here. "N-no..." Gaster shakes his head solemnly. "For-forget." You get his point. He wants you to return to the world, and not mourn him. "Should I tell Sans that you love him?" You ask. Gaster nods. Appreciative. "Please.". You turn back to the window, and step into the ice temperature of Snowdin.
