Katerina showed me around Mystic Falls, describing where-was-where and what-was-what. At the end of the tour she reluctantly brought me back to the Salvatore Manor. We rounded to the back of the house to see what I assumed to be the two Salvatore brothers; my Saharah was sitting on the patio, reading a thick volumed book. Way to not draw attention to yourself. Note the sarcasm. The two brothers were throwing around a ball and noticed Katerina immediately, racing each other toward her; the one I did not know won.

"Katherine, you have returned." Stefan said shoving the other Salvatore brother out of the way, taking Katherine's hand and kissing it

"Indeed I have." She smiled at him.

"And who, might you be?" The other Salvatore ask me, grasping my hand gently, kissing it softly.

"She's just an old acquaintance." Katerina replied for me, shooting daggers at me.

The Salvatore glanced up at me with adoring eyes; normally I wouldn't think much of it because I was use to Humans staring at me. This was different though. He had striking, intense blue eyes contrasting wonderfully against darkened lashes and eyebrows. Even though he was a Human, which I could change within moments, he was extremely attractive. Standing 5'9" in height with a well built, toned physique. He had a light complexion with olive undertones and had a strong bone structure with high cheeks bones and a solid jaw line. He possessed darkened brown, almost black hair which hangs just over his ears.

"Pleasure to be in your acquaintance milady, I am Damon Salvatore." He said politely, smiling widely at me.

"The pleasure is all mine, Mr.Salvatore." I smiled back, mysteriously.

"And, who might we owe this wondrous honour?" Stefan asked, looking at me suspiciously.

"Nakytta, Nakytta Micale." I introduced myself, "And that, over there, is my daughter Saharah Micale."

"She's your daughter?" Stefan exclaimed, his eyes almost popping out of his eyes.

The two glanced over at Saharah who was not even acknowledging us, trapped in her own world inside the book. I tried doing that once, escaping inside a book, but I couldn't focus on it. It was too boring for me.

"You don't look old enough to have bared a child." Damon said to me, seriously.

"Please Honey, I'm over 500 years old." I said to him, assuming Katerina already told them about vampires.

It didn't really matter whether or not she told them or not, I was one of the oldest vampires alive, it wouldn't matter anyways.

"True..." Damon replied, almost awkwardly.

"What is that?" I asked bewildered, pointing to the ball in Stefan's hand.

"What, this?" Stefan said, holding the brown ball up and I nodded.

"A football; you've never seen one before?" Damon asked, smirking and I shook my head.

"Nor have I heard of one." I frowned, "I travel quiet often."

"Perhaps we should show her brother." Damon smirked again.

"Perhaps we shall." He smirked back, it was like a signature smirk; something that ran in the family.

They proceeded to teach me what "Football" was. It was quiet fun as well, except that I couldn't use my vampire speed against them. Katerina seemed bitter about the whole thing, probably jealous that they were raving over me. Saharah continued to ignore us all even when we offered for her to join us, I guess she was too wrapped up in that damn book of hers.

It was a few hours later and I caught the ball, racing at Human speed across the yard. I almost reached the other end when a pair of arms wrapped around my waist, swinging me around. Of course at that exact moment my instincts/reflexes kicked in and I hissed, gripping the persons arms with a great deal amount of strength. It was only a moment though, I quickly realized what I had done. Damon immediately let go of me, I knelled down beside him continually repeated that I was sorry.

"I am so sorry. I should have realized. It was all out of reflexes, I should I have known..." I continued to mutter.

"I'm fine, it's okay, it wasn't your fault." He replied, giving me a reassuring smile.

Katerina and Stefan soon rushed over to see what had happened, even Saharah looked up from her book. I wondered why I cared so much that I hurt him, I've killed many and never given one thought about it.

"It was an accident." I snarled lowly at Katerina before she could say anything.

I briefly looked around at my surrounding before biting into my wrist, offering it to Damon. He sort of cringed away from it, and Katerina gave me a dangerous looked. I nearly rolled my eyes at both of them.

"It will take away the pain and heal you." I said to Damon.

"I'm fine." He replied stubbornly.

I growled, tempted to force the blood down his throat; just like father had forced the blood down my throat a thousand years ago. But I restrained myself from doing it just yet.

"If you won't take it, then I will shove it down your throat and kill you; turning you into a vampire as well." I threatened him, my more aggressive side started to kick in.

"Do that and I will personally kill you!" Katerina threatened me.

I swear if she knew who I really was, she would never have dared to threaten me like that; let alone give the slightest hints of hospitality. Using vampire speed I had her pinned to a tree in an instant, a firm grip on her throat. I growled lowly baring my teeth and looking all vamped up.

"Don't you ever threaten me again, Katerina Petrova." I threatened back, too low for the Humans to hear.

"Nakytta." Damon said softly behind me, before gently pulling me off of Katerina from the waist.

I didn't struggle, I allowed him to; I also didn't want to hurt him anymore then I already did. I hated how fragile he was, it's extremely annoying. I gently pulled out of his grasp and turned to him, I glanced down at his arm which he was holding gingerly.

"Can I heal you now?" I asked softly, looking him in the eye.

"No." Katerina growled from behind me.

I rolled my eyes, not even bothering to turn my attention to her. In an instant I bite my wrist, forcing the blood down Damon's throat; the guilt was slowly eating me way. It wasn't something I've ever experienced, so I had to solve the problem before it started to take effect. If tried to fight it off, I didn't notice, nor did I care too much.
