Joshs POV

I open my eyes only to see a woman staring at me.

"Who are you?"

"Laura. Alec wanted me to monitor you. How are you feeling?"

"Fine. Where is Alec?"

"He went to the pool."

"Where is Tyler?"

"Tyler?"

"You know. He comes here all the time."

"The guy with brown hair and brown eyes?"

"Yea. He's really cute."

"Ohh. Him. He's at the pool, I think."

"Can i go?"

"You just had surgery. Not a good idea."

"Please."

"No."

"I'm hungry."

"Well what do you want to eat?"

"Subway"

"No. How about mashed potatoes?"

"Gross."
She rolls her eyes at me and stands up. She picks up her phone and texts someone, i think. She sighs and looks at me.

"I'll go get your MASHED POTATOES."

"ugh"
I yawn and roll over onto my side.

OK but like idk where this story is even going and tbh i might just abandon it causeee idk

She pulls the door open and then walks out. She shuts it and i hear it lock. Now is my chance. I try to stand up. But my body aches. It hurts like hell. But I need to see Tyler.

Update: he moved onto Hometown.

I try to stand up for a second time. I succeed and go over to the window. I pull it open. There's a tree somewhat near. I'll have to jump but i should be able to make it. Then I'll climb down the tree and head to-wait. What pool is it?? I'll just head to Tylers house and text him. Then I'll go to the pool. I don't think I'll be able to swim but still. I'll get to see Tyler and that's all that matters.

I hear the door start to twist and quickly walk over to the bed and sit.

"Hey-wait. Why is the window open?"

"Didn't you open it earlier?"

"Oh. Probably."

"Yea. So where's my food?"

"Here." She sets down the gross mushy food on my little table thing.

"You expect me to eat THAT?"

"Sorry bud. It's all I can think of."

"Pleeeease can I have Subway?"

"Nope. I don't feel like going to Subway right now. Plus I can't leave you alone."

"Go get another nurse then."

"Alec gave me strict orders. If he even finds out i left you for a MINUTE he'll kill me."

"Fine. I'll go get your damn Subway. But if you go ANYWHERE, you're dead."

She rolls her eyes and walks out of the room. She shuts the door, and again, i hear the door lock. I stand up and grab my phone. I walk over to the window and sigh. This is gonna hurt. I stand up and put one of my legs through. I don't think any girl can comprehend how badly this hurts. They do splits all the time. But it's easy for them. Now guys on the otherhand, not so fun. I pull the rest of my body through, as well. I sigh and set my foot on the branch. It's a fair sized one, but i will have to make a little jump to get my entire body to it. I look down and see Laura walking out to her car. Shoot. I hope she doesn't notice me. I put my phone in my pocket. Wait. I'll get called on in this outfit. Good thing i have my clothes on under this ugly hospital outfit. I take the hospital gown off and sigh. I jump onto the branch.

"FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!"
I should have just grabbed on. Jumping was a horrible idea. Deep breaths. Deep breaths. Okay. I'm calm, I think. I slowly start climbing down.

I sit down on the grass. This is gonna be a long walk. Unless my car is here? They could have towed it. I look over to a patient section and see a car that looks like mine. I walk over and sure enough, it's mine. I grab my keys from my pocket and unlock it. But why do they have my car? Didn't I walk to the bridge? Maybe it's just something they do to get patients to leave sooner. It has to be mine. It even has the picture of James behind my steeringwheel. I hop in and head to Tylers house. I pull into his driveway and text him.

Hey Ty, where are you?

At the pool, why?

Ohh i thought you were home lol

Are you there

Maybe

Im leaving right now. See ya soon.

I sit and wait. He finally shows up. He hops out of Dylans car and runs up the driveway.

"Josh? Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital?"

"Pretty much."

"Sorry Joshie. I gotta tell Alec."

"Nooo don't."

"How'd you even get out?"

"Jumped out a window into a tree, climbed the tree, found my car, and drove here. Simple."

"JOSH!" He crosses his arms and shakes his head. Alec gets out of the car.

"A: Josh. Let's go."

"J: nooooo"

"A: Yes. You probably have Laura worried sick."

"J: She went to get me subway."

"A: Well then."
