Chapter 6

Autumn’s POV

 

What does the fox say?  DINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDING!!!

Guess what? I still haven’t changed it. I’ve got no time for that. Anyways, who will it be? When I checked on the caller I.D it was no other than my best enemy. OOOPS! I mean my best friend, Mia. She just called me a while ago. HAHAHAHA! I gotcha all didn’t I? You thought it was a boy or my boyfriend right? Well bad luck; it was my girl friend unless she wants to be a boy soon.

I answered it right away, knowing that she would yell at me on the phone if I don’t answer right away. I don’t want to be deaf.

“Hi baby Mia, what do you want now? You just called.” I said with a mama voice.

“Yeah, I forgot about asking you where you will be staying. Are you going to your mansion there?” she asked disregarding that I called her baby. She hates that nickname.

“I still don’t know. I think I’ll be staying in our hotel here. I don’t want to be imprisoned in our home. I don’t feel the good vibes there.” I said feeling the shivers in my spine.

“Oh, well I think I will be visiting London soon. School will not start until 2 months so maybe after 2 weeks I will come and visit you. Well if that’s fine?” What a relief! She will come here and I won’t be lonely anymore.

“I don’t want you here.” I joked but used a serious voice. Pretending something is easy. She was about to talk, I took back what I just said. “Just kidding, of course you will be welcome to come here.”

“Ok then, I should go ahead, we girls, will have a girl day out. Bye! See you soon! Love you!” She said cheerfully.

“Ok. Enjoy and take care! Love you too!” I said before she hanged up on me.

Now what will I do? This car ride is making me sleepy. Where will we be going? I need to ask mom or dad right now.

Dad is talking to someone on the phone. Oh, I definitely know that face. He is clearly pissed. I don’t know why, but I absolutely want to know.

“Hey dad, what’s up? Pissed? Anyways, where are we going?” He looked at me. I thought his eyebrows are already connected to each other because he is really pissed.

“Ask your mom, Nathalie.” He addressed me as my first name and that is my hint to ‘don’t talk to him for now’. Mom just finished talking to someone on the phone.

“Autumn dear, we are going to the company first. Your dad is somehow late already for a meeting that’s why he is pissed. Forgive him.” Mom said.

I nodded. I don’t have anything to say yet. Okay, now what? Oh wait! I do have something to say!

“Mom?” I asked. “Yes dear?” She said smiling. How I love that smile.

“I was going to ask where I will stay. I mean do I have to stay in the mansion? We will just be here for 2 months right? I think I told you that school will start soon.”

“You are going to stay in a hotel. But not in our hotel, the penthouse is currently under-construction and your father said you should stay at a different hotel. Have you heard about the Elegant Milestone Castle? You are going to stay there.”

“You are going to stay there because we know that you are bored at our home and maybe if we are leaving so suddenly we can make sure that you won’t ruin the house.” My dad said after he said farewell to the person on the phone.
