"Just look at what those people did to you."

Sangwoo's words echoed through your mind.

"They tore your clothes, shoved you down on onto the floor and humiliated you like you were a freak."

You closed your eye tightly.

"They called you terrible names, spat on you, threw who knows what on you."

Your heart began to beat loudly.

"They raped and ridiculed you. Everybody just watched, pointed and laughed while you were screaming and crying for mercy."

Your stomach dropped at the horrid memory.

"There's so many videos of you trending online already."

You clenched the blanket tighter against you.

"All the people commenting are pinning all the blame on you."

You pressed your lips into a tight line.

"You're just a twenty five cent slut to everyone now."

You could feel your body beginning to tremble.

"What do you think (Y/N)? Was it really all your fault?"

You mouth went dry.

"You wanna know what I think?"

The question peaked your curiosity for a moment but you feared his response.

Sangwoo let out a long sigh when he realized you weren't going answer his question.

"You know what?"

You felt his muscular arms wrap around your trembling form underneath the shared blanket.

"I still remember back when I was little and when I had a bad day at school or just received a beating from my dad, my mom would always wrap her skinny arms around me. Just like this."

Your muscles tensed at the sudden close contact.

"She'd hum against my ears and run her fingers through my hair. She'd always tell me how everything will end up alright in the end."

You could feel his faint breaths hitting against the shell of your ear as he began to hum. The feeling of fingers gently scratching against your scalp and running through your hair was a welcoming sensation that you weren't used to.

"It's not your fault, (Y/N)."

His sentence caught your immediate attention.

"You didn't deserve that."

You throat felt tight and your chest ached painfully.

"All you wanted to do was talk with your old classmates."

You hand reached up to cover your mouth as you felt the sudden urge to cry.

"The same classmates that you used to laugh with and wake up in the middle night to help them."

Your chest heaved up and down as muffled hiccups passed your lips.

"Their terrible disgusting people. They never bothered to look for you and they've tarnished your name. Your own family doesn't even want you."

Tears formed in the corner of your eye.

"You can't even show your face in public now."

You felt everything shatter at the thought.

"They never cared for you. They never appreciated you. They never loved you."

Through clenched teeth you let out a muffled whimper.

"You go out of your way to help everyone. You loved helping others and they took advantage of that. Every single time they gave you a call at four in the morning you'd come rushing in. Did they even say thank you?"

A cry slipped through your lips.

"You sacrificed your time and put others before you every single time. You did all that and look how they repay you."

Your muffled cries soon turned into cracked sobs.

"My poor little (Y/N). All you ever wanted to do with your life was help others."

Your chest felt tight and heavy. It felt like you couldn't breathe anymore. You could feel your blood rushing to your face.

"You went missing and no one else cared. You show up again and they strip you defile you and post it online. Not a single person defended you. Out of all those people there not a single one of them even tried to stop it."

You couldn't hold it in anymore.
A pitiful cry bubbled out of your throat.
Your body trembled with each gasp of air you took.

"Shhh. It'll be okay, (Y/N). They don't deserve you, they never did."
