Part 19

The jiggling of the metallic doorknob seemed to echo throughout the entire house.
Bum's eyes immediately lit up with the thought of seeing your smiling face.

The front door creaked open slowly almost eerily in a way. Hearing a faint yet familiar sighing noise made Bum hold his breath at the feeling that grew inside of him.

Sangwoo's handsome face was the first thing to emerge from behind the front door.
" Why the hell are you still up?"

Bum paused. His dark eyes scanning the entrance way, waiting for another familiar face to appear.
"I couldn't sleep."
It's true.
His grown so accustomed to having your warm loving hand tangled around his own. He treasures those nights when Sangwoo's strong arms becomes wrapped around his skinny waist.
He just can't sleep properly without having someone next to him anymore.

Sangwoo hummed at response.
"Your such a weirdo."
His strong chest moved upwards slightly as a small chuckle passed his lips.

"Sangwoo...?"
Bum's hand began to pull at his skinny fingers on the opposite appendage. He could feel his stomach begin to twist and turn.
"Where's (y/n)?"
Bum noticed how Sangwoo was already fully inside the home and in front of the door. His large hands rested on the metallic doorknob as his gaze was focused on something outside.

The door closed.

"She's dead—"

Bum's heart stopped.

"Asleep in the car."
Sangwoo's upper lips twitched upwards as he finished his sentence. He found it amusing how white Bums already pale face became.

The skinny man nervously played with his fingers as a forced awkward chuckle passed his lips.
"Ar-aren't you going to wake her up then?"
Bum could feel a pool of saliva pool in the back of his mouth as his eyes darted between the floor and the taller man in front of him.

Sangwoo paused for what seemed like hours.
"Hmm..."
His eyes glancing to the side as if he was deep in thought.
"Nah."

Bum's eyebrow furrowed together at his response.
"B-but why?"
Panic began to stir within him.
"It's so cold outside!"
His voice cracked at the sudden change of volume he used.
"She could freeze! She didn't even bring a thick jacket with her!"

"Don't get your panties twisted into a knot. She'll be fine."
Sangwoo studied Bum's wide worried filled eyes for a moment before he let a tired sigh pass his lips.
"She's wrapped up in a spare jacket I had and the car's still pretty warm since I had the heater on during the entire drive."

A small smile spread on Sangwoo's lips once he saw Bum's face relax.
"She's tired, really tired and she deserves to rest. I didn't want to wake her up yet."

"Oh, ok."
Bum honestly seemed to be relived at the explanation.
"How'd the party go then?"
The small man watched as Sangwoo's face visibly tensed at the question.  The tall man's hand reached into his jacket as he pulled out his phone. The light that radiated off of the electronic screen allowed Bum to see Sangwoo's narrowed eyes before tossing the phone over to Bum.

Bum's skinny nervous finger held onto the device as a feeling dread began to bubble within his small frame at Sangwoo's words. His large eyes cautiously stared at the screen before he pressed play.
The first image that appeared were a pair of sneakers. Bum could only hear static at first but it soon blended into laughter and screams that intermingled making it nearly impossible to tell what was being said.
It didn't take long until the video showed something completely different.

Bum's skinny pale fingers became limp causing the phone to slip and fall onto his lap.

No.
No.
Please.
No.

"Ho-how did this even ha-happen?."
Bum big dark eyes filled to the brim with tears.
No one deserves that. Especially not you he thought.

"Hah, I never thought..."
Sangwoo shook his head as he pressed his hand against his forehead. His lips stretched into an almost crazed smile. He sucked in long and deep breaths as he kneeled down to Bum's height.

Bum quickly focused his gaze onto the floor out. His mouth went dry.

"I never thought this would work out so damn well!"

Bum's small frame began to shake.

"Ahah! Can you believe it Bum! Our plan worked out so fucking well!"

Our plan?
Bum thought.
Oh...
That's right our plan.
