Chapter 30

I'm exhausted.

I woke up at one in the morning to get ready to leave at three. I only got three hours of sleep. That's not enough. I'm not even sure how we got on the correct plane. None of us are completely awake. I don't even remember boarding the plane. I know our plane was boarding at four, but I don't remember getting on it.

"Psst."

I cuddle deeper in my seat.

"Psst."

What is that? Is there a fly in here?

"Psst!"

Can't it go bother someone else? I'm trying to sleep here.

"Psst! Tori!"

Flies can't whisper. Or know my name.

"Are you awake?"

Is that Louis? Doesn't he see my eyes shut? That usually indicates someone is sleeping.

"Tori?"

Why is he poking me? Unless we are landing, I don't care.

"There's a spider on your arm."

I jump out of my seat and look frantically for the spider. Louis starts laughing. Ugh. That jerk! Why does he see the fun in torturing me?

"Miss, could you please sit back down?" A flight attendant with a name tag that says Stacey on it.

"Sorry. I thought I saw a spider." I say that last part to Louis. I sit back down in my seat.

Stacey smiles at me before walking down the aisle again. That must be a terrible job. I would not be able to deal with all the annoying, grouchy old people.

"You're a jerk." I whisper to Louis. I look next to me to see Liam leaning against the window sleeping. Awh. He's so cute.

"You're drooling." Louis whispers in my ear.

I turn to glare at him. "I don't drool. How long until we land?" I lean my head back closing my eyes.

"Four hours." Louis answers. "Want to do a prank with me?"

I raise an eyebrow at him. "What kind of prank?"

Louis points at Liam. "Pretend we are secretly dating."

What? No! "I'm not doing that! That's so mean!" I shake my head at him.

"I promise not to prank you for the whole tour!" Louis pleads. Wow, he really wants me to help him.

"Define pretend."

Louis grins and rubs his hands together evilly. "We'll pretend to fall asleep on each other. You can just stay quiet and I'll do everything else."

I bite my lip. I look over at Liam to see him still asleep. I shouldn't do this.

"Excuse me, miss?" Louis waves Stacy back over. "Can we get a blanket?"

I look back at Liam. His eyes open and he mouthes something. "Play along." He whispers so Louis can't hear. "We'll prank him." He grins. Ah. Does this mean Louis thinks he is pranking Louis, but Liam and I will be pranking him?

This shall be fun.

"Ready?" Louis pulls the blanket over both of us.

"You promise not to prank me?" I ask.

"Promise. Now lay down on me." Louis slides his seat back.

I lay down on his chest and get comfy. Not the same as Liam. Louis pulls the blanket over us. He grabs my right hand intertwines our fingers. I'm glad Liam knows we're doing this. I would feel so guilty. I feel guilty now. I close my eyes and wait for Louis to wake Liam up.

"What is going on?" Liam wakes up. Well, technically he was already awake. Louis doesn't know that though.

"What's up, mate?" Harry groggy voice questions. "Whoa." He must have looked over at us.

"Tori wouldn't cheat on you. Don't think like that." Megan joins the conversation.

"Then why are they holding hands?" Liam's voice raises just a tiny bit.

"Maybe she fell asleep and thought it was you?" Niall suggests.

I feel Louis move underneath me. "Why is everyone staring at-" He trails off. "Liam, it's not what you think."

"Then what is it?" Liam questions. He is a good actor.

"We just fell asleep." Louis sits up.

"Holding hands?" Liam says sounding like he is holding back his emotions.

Louis sighs. "I'm sorry, mate."

"Don't call me mate!" Liam snaps. He should be an actor. "We are not mates! Friends don't do this to each other!"

I should probably wake up about now. I push up off of Louis and look around. Everyone is staring at me. "What's going on?" I rub my eyes trying to look tired.

When no one is looking at him, Liam winks at me. "We know your secret." His face hardens back up.

Here comes my acting skills. "What secret?"

"Don't play stupid." Liam snaps at me.

"Louis we should just tell him." I turn to Louis referring to our little prank.

Liam stands up. "I already know about you two. We're over!" He squeezes past Louis and I and starts down the aisle.

"No! Liam you don't understand!" I stand up to follow him. Liam walks to the middle of the plane to the bathroom. "Liam, please?"

Liam spins to look at me. "I never want to see you again." He walks in the bathroom and locks the door.

I try to hold back the tears. I'm a better actress then I thought. I keep my back to everyone else for a few seconds. When I have tears flowing down my face I whip around to face Louis.

"This is all your fault!" I scream at Louis. "I should have never went along with this stupid prank!" I cry. "Look what's happened now!" I fall to my knees and then to on my butt. I pull my knees to my chest and cry.

"What prank?" Zayn stands up looking at me on the floor. "What prank?" He raises his voice.

"I-I convinced Tori to play a prank on Liam with me." Louis stutters.

"Really?" Liam walks out of the bathroom. "I did that exact same thing, but the prank was on you." Liam reaches down to help me up. I grab his hand and stand up.

"What?" Louis stares at the two of us in confusion.

I wipe my tears away. "It sucks to be pranked, huh?" I lead Liam back to our seats.

"That was a prank?!" Louis exclaims. "I am so getting you back."

I lean my head on Liam's shoulder. "No more pranks until we get to our next hotel." I yawn.

"You're acting has improved." Megan compliments me.
