"Mom? Dad?" I said, as I walked into the house.

"Sky, we're in the living room." My dad said.

"Well, Ethan's mom and Ethan are here. They want to talk to you guys." I said, as I walked into the living room.

"What? Why?" My mom asked, as she got up from the sofa.

"I'm actually not sure. I was just eating pizza, and they sat with me, and then his mom said she wanted to talk to you guys." I lied, as I followed my mom to the front door.

My mom opened the door, and greeted Ethan and his mom.

"Hi, I'm Sky's mom." My mom said, as she gave Ethan's mom a hug. "Please come in."

Ethan and his mom came in, and we followed my mom to the kitchen.

"Would you like some coffee?" My mom asked Ethan's mom.

"Yes, please." She said, as she sat down at the dining room table.

My mom started the coffee maker, and sat down next to Ethan's mom.

"John, come in here!" My mom yelled to my dad.

Ethan and I stood by the table, as my dad came in, and sat down next to my mom.

"Lets go. I need to talk to you." I whispered to Ethan.

I slowly walked out of the kitchen, and towards the stairs. As soon as we we're out of sight from our parents I turned to Ethan.

"I didn't tell my parents we were dating, because the first time you were here they thought I was dating you, or I wanted to date you, so they said I wasn't allowed. But we weren't dating, and now we are dating, and now I don't know what to tell them." I whispered.

Ethan brought his finger up to his chin, and tapped it as he thought.

"I have an idea." Ethan said, as he held my hand in his, and pulled me back to the kitchen.

When we walked back in my mom was pouring Ethan's mom a cup of coffee. My dad's eyes darted to me and Ethan's hands, and then to my eyes. His look was pure confusion, and I gave Ethan's hand a small squeeze.

"Excuse me, I have a question to ask." Ethan said out loud, as he caught my parents attention.

My mom looked at Ethan and I, as she put the coffee pot down.

"Yes, what is it?" My mom asked kindly, as her eyes darted to our hands.

I have Ethan's hand another nervous squeeze, as my face got hot. He squeezed my hand gently to reassure me that everything was going to be okay.

"I wanted to know if I am allowed to date your daughter." Ethan said calmly.

I looked at his mom who was looking at Ethan, and I looked at my parents. They looked extremely shocked by the question.

"Excuse me?" My dad asked, as if he didn't hear Ethan correctly.

"I want to know if I am allowed to date your daughter." Ethan said again.

"Sky, I thought you said he doesn't date fans." My mom said.

"Yeah, but he asked me, and I know you said no like three months ago, but maybe you can change your mind." I said, as I scratched my forehead with my free hand.

"Youre daughter is very kind, and caring. I highly approve of this relationship." Ethan's mom said smiling.

'Thank you' I mouthed to her, and she gave me a smile.

My parents exchanged glances.

"How do you expect this relationship to work if you live in Houston and he lives in Los Angeles." My dad asked me curiously.
