Chapter 2

Peridot pov
Hey there my name is Peridot and I'm 16. Well currently I'm living in New York. Well not for long today I'm leaving and moving back to my home town. If your wondering why I'm going to my home town well there is a bunch of reasons. But my main reason is that I want to see the greatest most wonderful person in the world that I have ever met. And her name is lapis lazuli are family has known each other for quite some time so they decided why don't let there children be friends with each other. And me and lapis have been together since preschool or maybe longer I honestly don't know. But I'm glad our parents did that. I actually wonder what she looks like or if she looks different. Because I know I do I change my hair style, got piercings on my ears, my freckles are more noticeable, and dorky glasses. Well that's what people say to me. Honestly I'm glad I'm go back now I can leave and won't be bully anymore well I hope. I don't have any friends here so yeah.

I was already done packing my things. I was going to stay with lapis and her parents while I was there but I am kinda nervous of going. I then went to the leaving room where my parents were.

Pdad- are you ready to go peridot

Peridot- yes Dad

Pmom- do you have everything you need?

Peridot- yes mother

Pmom- well ok then now let's go and take you to the airport.

Then we left for the airport when we arrived there I said my goodbyes to my parents. We shed some tears then I left and went to my plane. It was a long ride all they way to New York to Beach City. But I didn't mind I took a little nap on the plane. That's until I woke up that we have already arrived at Beach city. When I got off I made sure I got my things and waited for lapis and her mom to pick me up.

It's already been an hour and thirty minutes and I'm starting to get impatient so I decided to text lapis.

Peri- hey lap were are you guys I been waiting for a while now.

Lap- don't worry where here

Peri- k cool

Finally I thought to myself I took a deep breath and hope they find me soon. I then got up and started to walk close to the door. Until I saw lapis and her mom. When I got a little closer I started to notice that lapis looks completely different. She has blue hair now!?! I guess I kinda saw this coming since her favorite color is blue. But when I got close I felt a little nervous and I felt a little tingle in my stomach.

Lapis- P-peridot

Peridot- hi Lapis long time no see hehe.

Lapis- oh my god peri it's been to long!!!

She then tackled me into a hug I started to blush a little.

Lmom- ok that enough lapis I want a hug too.

Then lapis Mom gave me a hug.

Peridot- hi Ms. lazuli it's great to see you again.

Lmom- oh it great to see you too, my have you grown.

Lapis- what do you mean Mom looks like peridot has even grown an inch since last time we saw her.

Peridot- hey!! I've grown a lot since last time.

Lapis- hehehe ya but you are pretty short.

Peridot- hmph
