I looked at myself in the mirror. My nerves were on edge and I had less than an hour to get ready.

Scar informed me to stay in the room while they had dinner.

I'm not going to do that.

I combined through my hair waiting to hear knocking at the door. "I see you will be joining us."

Kain stood in the door way, observing me.

"Scar might kill me first." I was starting to rethink this whole defiant thing. "If this works he can finally let me go."

"Do not look to escape." I turned to him, confused. "Learn to love yourself in the darkness. Being like this isn't a choice we were made this way. " His hands grabbed onto my wrist. "Hell sent us the most evil disease; Love. Use It as an advantage."

I pulled away, shaking my head. "I do not love Scar."

He gave me a knowing smile before walking towards the door. "Are you sure?"

Before I could protest. He was gone.

The faint nose of the doorbell sent me to the staircase. There in the foyers stood a tall girl with black hair in all leather. Next to her stood an older couple.

I waited until they sat at the dinning room table to enter.

The room was silent as I sat across from Scar. "Asparagus my favorite." Scooping some off the plate. "Do you mind passing me the corn?"

The girl, I'm guessing is London, gave me a confused look. "Who is she?"

"An unwanted guest." Scar clenched his teeth. "Didn't I tell you to stay upstairs."

"Yes but you also told me that your parents were dead so listening to you isn't really an option."

Winter eyes widen.

"Plus I thought I should meet the parents of my mate." I extended my hand towards them. These were not Scar's parents. They smelled weak. Everyone was in on this lie. "I'm Harmony." They both shook, awkwardly.

"You think what your doing is funny. Don't forget Harmony I can-"

"Kill me?" I finished. "I know but eventually I'll die and walk right through hell with a smile, waiting for you." My mouth chewed the vegetable slowly.

"I think we should all just eat." Ken suggested.

"I think not. Who are you, London?"

She leaned into Scar. "The soon to be Luna."

A crackling laugh escaped my throat. "Really? You? I mean I see if Tiffany could be the Luna but you. I think Scar can do better."

"Death wish." Carter whispered to me.

"Scar is not going to kill me." Every head made it's way in my direction.

"What makes you think I won't?"

I thought for a minute. "You need me." His cut eyebrow raised at me. "You want a powerful pack and I want to see the faces of people I leave to rot. No one will be able to lead this pack like me and you and you know that."

London raised her perfectly manicured hand to my face."You must be dumb or something-"

"Shut up London." She immediately did as told.

That's exactly how I was. Like his own personal puppet.

"I'm not sure what lose screws you have, go get them fixed. I am the Alpha."

"And Im the Luna."

"We haven't mated."

I smirked. "What's stopping you?" I could see right through his facade. "If public sex is your thing the table isn't a bad place to start."

He seemed to be thinking. The next thing out his mouth came to me in surprise. "Kill her son."

Mecca snatched Aiden from Ken.

"Alpha please. Harmony doesn't know what she's saying." Hannah pleaded.

Kain from across the room, pointed to the picture above him. A baby werewolf sat on the mothers back.

Aiden is half werewolf. He had more than likely a chance to survive and If not I was going to kill Scar.

Aiden sat clapping with Meccas claws to his neck.

"My baby is so gorgeous." I smiled at him. He reached his arms out for me but I shook my head. "I can't hold you. Scar is going to let Mecca kill you while we eat."

The cooks sat another dish of food on the table. "This looks delicious. Can we hurry this up?"

Mecca was about to slice his neck before I stopped him.

Scar gave me an powerful smile. He must think I gave in.

"I want Xander to do it."

"My pack never takes orders from you. Do it."

Something, I'm not sure what, built inside of me. "Mecca sit down." My voice held so much authority and power it almost scared me.

Wide eyed. He scurried to his seat. "Now like I was saying. Slice Aiden's throat Xander."

We stared into each other's eyes. All the evil and hate I couldn't see before was there.

And I liked.

"I can't take this." Hannah ran picking up Aiden, walking upstairs.

"Such a shame. I really wanted to see you in action." I pouted.

Scar launched himself across the table putting his hands around my neck. I smiled, running my hand over his scar. "It was a delight being yours if only for a day."

My vision became blur. Then ,like a miracle, he let go.

"Go to your room." His hands ran shakily through his hair.

His face almost pained.

Because I touched him?

"Tell London to leave."

"No."

"Why?"

Darkness started to fill his eyes. It did not frighten me this time. "I'm trying not to hurt you, Harmony."

Whenever I notice his small lies I drown in nights of paranoia. Everything he said I believed, I was tired of being lied to.

Not having a say in what I do.

Not controlling my life.

Anger flooded my veins as I punished him into the table. He fell into it, making it break.

He stood like he was unaffected. "Hurt me  Xander. Show me the worst you can do." Kain gave me a slight head nod. "That's the only way I can understand."

"Show her Alpha." Ken cheesed.

"You said  I'm not welcome here. Then take me away. Kill me, send me to your prison." My feet stepped up to him so we were only an inch apart. "You were right behind every great man is not a good women." I titled my head to stare up at him. "Because were always in the front."

And that's all it took.
