"You told him you love him?"
Maybe not those exact words. Hannah paced her bedroom. I sat looking out the window watching everyone train.
"It's not a big deal." My mouth was speaking before my mind could register my thoughts. I'm not in love with Scar. At least not now, or any time soon.
Her eyes widen at my statement. "Alpha will use that to his advantage."
If that was true I'm sure he'd already be ordering me around instead for the past two days he's been avoiding me. Only do I see him if Aiden or Exile is around. Even then he does not acknowledge my existence.
"I don't love him. I just think he needs someone to care about him. Where is his family?"
I looked around at Winter and Ken but they stayed silent.
I let out an exaggerated sigh. I walked out the room down the long hall. I wasn't going no where in particular.
I stopped at an opened door walking into the library. Kain sat at an table looking over at me.
I sat across from him. "I did everything you told me to do."
"You stood up to him?"
"Yes." I answered.
"You showed him power."
"Kinda."
"Listened?"
"Yes."
"Did you face reality?"
"I don't understand."
He leaned a little over the table. "Some people are not meant to be loved, Harmony. Scar is one of those people."
"Then why did you instruct me to do all that stuff? I really don't understand if.." I trailed off.
"I want you to show Scar that everything he touches doesn't obliterate. Show him that there is more to living then just staying alive."
"And what would I get out of this?"
He was in deep thought for a moment before he spoke. "To re-paint your reality."
"Harmony. You are the only one who can find the light in him."
I stood from the chair looking out the window. "He said something about when he leaves. Where is he going? Why can't he just be a good guy."
"You'll understand soon enough."
"I told him I love him." I admitted. "I don't love him-"
"He knows this."
That's a relief. "Then why is he avoiding me?"
Kain walked towards the door, turning back to me. "He thought that for a second, even in just a small part of him, he believed someone felt something for him, other than hate."
"But you love him. He's your brother."
A light chuckle escaped his lips. "Scar has taken something away from all of us. Irreplaceable things. I could never care for him."
He cracked the door. "You were giving this life because your strong enough to live it.Until it's time I'll be absent, away."
Everything was a mystery to me.
"No." He paused glancing back at me. "I need to know more."
He gave me a smile. One I've never seen him do before. "Once upon a time an angel and a demon fell in love." His eyes reached mine. "It didn't end well."
He walked out.
"Wait!" I ran out the room trying to find him. I bumped into a hard chest, causing me to fall to the floor.
My eyes trailed up to met Scar's. "Hey I was just looking for you."
He gave me a puzzled face. "For what?"
I thought quick. "Training?" I asked more than stated.
"Training?" He crossed his arms over his broad chest. "Thought you wanted nothing to do with my pack."
I shrugged my shoulders. "Change of heart. This is about the pack. I can help strengthen it."
He snarled walking away from me. Not taking me serious.
I ran in front of him blocking his way down the hall.
"I'm being serious. I'll do anything you want no complaints, no matter how hard It is."
"Anything ?"
"Anything." I confirmed.
He smirked. "This will be fun."
