7:45 a.m. is when Karlie's alarm sounds through her almost empty apartment. The spot next to her is ice cold and she sits up with worry in her eyes. She gets up and scans the room for any evidence that her girlfriend had recently gotten up. Nothing.

She searches the main floor for her blonde haired girl but has no luck.
Karlie knows that her girl loved to watch the sunrise in the morning, especially when she needs to think. So Karlie grabs her keys and goes out to the car to drive to the lake that rested on her property. She sees the blonde pony tail that was siting on the girls head, and walks over.
Karlie puts her hands on the girls shoulders and whispers in her ears, "can't hide from me, Toni."

Toni smiles and looks at Karlie with her big eyes and says, with no personality in her voice, "I know you've been cheating on me."

Flashback

It was a Saturday night and Karlie was roaming the streets of New York. Her and her girlfriend had gotten into a fight and she needed some fresh air.

She walked into a almost empty bar and looked around searching for the drinks. Once spotting it she walked over. She reaches the bar and orders her drink. She feels the presence of someone next to her and sees the most beautiful eyes staring back at her. She puts her hand out and waits for the girl to return the gesture, once she does Karlie introduces herself. The girl responds back with "Taylor, what's a pretty girl like you doing alone in a bar." It's said with a sly grin and she burns holes in Karlies eyes while she waits for her answer. "I'm in a fight with my girlfriend, needed to get out. Who knows if we're still together."
"If you're not together that means I can do this." She says while leaning in and capturing Karlies lips with her own.

That was only the beginning.

They snuck around for about two months. They loved each other but Karlie couldn't face Toni and tell her about what had been happening.

With weeks and weeks going by, Karlie was out more and more with Taylor. Karlie started to find a true passion and love for her new girl, but she still couldn't tell Toni.

"Karlie, you can't hide it from me anymore. You love someone else. I'm not enough for you. It's okay but next time, tell me please. Darling, I will always love you." Toni kissed her cheek as she walked away with tears sliding down her face.
Karlie just stared at the lake before grabbing her phone and calling her girl.

"Hey Taylor? Ya my house is free would you like to move in?"
