"Cuz I remember we were sitting there by the water, you put your arm around me for the first time!" My girlfriends voice echoed through the music large music room that stands in her apartment.
"Braced myself for the goodbye cuz that's all I've ever known, but you took me by surprise and said I'll never leave you alone."
"Babe that was amazing!" I pulled my blue eyed girl into a tight embrace.
"Thanks Karl's! It's all about you! I was scared that when we found out I was having a baby after the whole Adam thing, you were going to leave me." She says with tears forming.
"Babe you know I would never leave you, and you know I love the little bean growing in that belly of yours." I reassure her poking her.
She's smiles and rubs the belly that is slowly growing. It's been 5 months since we've got together and she's about 6 months pregnant. After she told Adam that she was expecting a baby he dumped her and I found her wandering the streets with no money and no place to go. It was mid December so it was snowing, a lot.
I took went up to her and I offered a coffee at the nearest cafe and we've been together since.
"Babe! Come here!" Taylor's concerned voice booms through the house.
I come running hoping everything is good with her and the baby.
"What's up?" I ask out of breath.
"She's kicking!" Her smile beams from ear to ear.
I touch her belly and wait for the kicking she's been talking about, nothing.
"Baby, I don't feel anything. Where is.... DID YOU SAY SHE?!?" My eyes are bulging out of my face right now. I just can't believe it's going to be a girl.
"Yep! She's a girl. And she kicks more on the right side of my belly." She giggles.
I place my hand on the side of her belly and I feel a small but powerful kick on my fingers. It must of brought a smile to my face, because Taylor was staring at me with tears in her eyes.
"Taybear? Is everything okay? You're crying."
"Oh ya babe it's just this baby is going to have two amazing mothers."
"Yes, yes she is." I smile.
"You are the best thing that's ever been mine." I sing to her. I pull her closer and we share a passionate kiss that's seems like it lasts a lifetime.
