Taylor was sitting at her small kitchen table awaiting the arrival of her girlfriend Karlie. She has been away for the last week for her job.
Taylor has only seen pictures of Karlie from the paps, but that had been it because Karlie would be doing shoots almost 24/7.
The front door slammed, making Taylor jump in excitement mixed with fear. Taylor had some big news too share with Karlie.
"Babe! Are you home I saw your car in the drive-" Karlie was cut off by Taylor's soft lips hitting hers.
"Karlie I miss you so much!" Taylor yelled once they were done kissing.
"I missed you too babe!" Taylor gave off a sheepish smile at the tall girls statement, although it was small and not as meaningful to others, it meant the world to Taylor.
"Kar, I'm making dinner so you have around 20 minutes okay?" Taylor says once their long embrace is over.
"Sure babe, I just need a quick shower!" Karlie says while running up the stairs, skipping one each time, with her long legs that wasn't a problem.
Soon enough Karlie was back down in the kitchen and Taylor was getting her dinner plate ready, because she insisted Karlie sat and let her get Karlie's food.
Taylor had always been an amazing cook, but Karlie was always amazed by what was put in front of her every single night.
Tonight Taylor put together one of her girlfriends favourite dishes. A vegan, Italian style, pizza. Karlie was very excited.
They sat in silence for most of dinner, there was no need for talking when people could be enjoying a wonderful dinner.
Dinner has been over for the last 15 minutes and Taylor was more then nervous to share her big news with Karlie. She had so many fears and negative thoughts where running through her body.
'Will she leave me?'
'Will she be happy?'
Taylor was so lost in thoughts she couldn't even hear Karlie trying to get her attention.
"Tay?"
"Earth to Taylor!"
"TAY!"
The older girl was snapped back into real life and was taken back by the loud yelling of her girlfriend.
"Sor-sorry Kar." Karlie laughs at Taylor's now bright red cheeks.
Taylor pushed it out of the way and was getting ready for dessert, and the big announcement.
A plate with a single piece of cake was put in front of Karlie. She was very excited but Taylor could see the unknown disappointment in her eyes.
"Kar? Did I do something wrong? Are you okay?" Taylor was starting to panic and her girlfriends facial expressions.
"No! Goodness no! I just- I brought you home dessert from work!" Karlie's booming laugh fills the large, echoing kitchen.
"Ohhh. Haha I though I did something."
Karlie left to her bag where 2 very important things awaited her. Dessert and a red, velvet box that contained a very special ring.
Karlie was so worried that Tay would say no. But she had to think on the positive side of things.
Karlie didn't know how to ask Taylor this very important question, but she knew it had to be perfect.
"Karlie, can you come back? I really want dessert!!" Taylor pleaded.
Karlie laughed and returned to where her girlfriend was sitting and waiting.
Karlie decided that it was now or never, so as she walked over to Taylor she swiftly bent down onto one knee and started the speech she had been practicing all day.
"Taylor Alison Swift, you are the love of my life, my pride and my joy. You are the reason I wake up every day. Your genuine smile lights up the whole town, and I couldn't imagine a world without you. I want to grow up with you, I want to spend the rest of my life in your arms, I want to raise a family with you! I love you so much so Tay, will you marry me?" As Karlie finishes, both her and Taylor are in tears.
After many seconds of crying, Taylor finally speaks up.
"Of course Karlie! I love you so much!"
Both girls embrace in a warm hug and a passionate kiss.
Taylor thought now was a perfect time to share her news with Karlie.
Here goes nothing.
"Kar? I have to tell you something." They break out of the embrace and Karlie gives Taylor a very worried look.
"Yea?" Karlie whispered, she was scared but she knew almost anything couldn't break this moment.
"Kar, I'm pregnant." Taylor says with a smile plastered on her face.
Taylor immediately feels two giant arms once again wrapped around her.
Both girls had an amazing day.
